Offered Elite a registration number they were interested in purchasing, they offered an amount I was happy to accept and the retention certificate was

forwarded to them. Three weeks later no cheque received, numerous contacts made and Elite made excuse after excuse. First they said tbey needed a Power of Attorney form signed, then they required personal identity then claimed signatures didn't match.

Absolute waste of time they obviously attempted to make a quick buck without having to pay out any money. Four weeks later they sent the retention certificate back. AVOID IF YOUR SELLING THERE ARE FAR MORE PROFESSIONAL DEALERS OUT THERE. ABSOLUTE TIME WASTER.

They offered to sell a plate of mine which I know to be work at least £50,000 (yes a 1 plate) and they offered £5,500.

By comparison, other companies (the biggest one included) valued it much, much higher.

Elite Registrations then have the nerve to say "we've been around longer than the other company". Quite pathetic.

From the outset all the trust has to come from the customer.

I sold my plate to them and following delays they sent a cheque BUT the figure

in the box differed from the written amount so it is worthless.

On contacting them I was told that I had to send the cheque back before they could issue a new one, yet more delaying tactics.

I have a cherished plate and decided to get a valuation. Plate-Trader and Reg Transfers suggested £4,000 - £5,000, which is a little less than I expected given very similar plates are for sale for £6,000 - £11,000.

EliteRegistrations offered to buy it from me for £500 and did not provide a valuation of the plate.

Either they don't know how to do their job, or its just an attempt to get unknowing people to sell to them at 10% of the real value. Preying on the vulnerable.....

Picked and ordered a number plate from there stock on Monday night and was pleasantly surprised when as it was paid,transferred, new V5 recieved and on the car within 5 days.

No issues happy with the service

Wouldn't waste your time selling a number plate with them they don't even acknowledge your email let alone try and sell your plate!!

Very happy customer,been little bit offput by previus reviews but as I really liekd the number plate they were selling I have decided to go for it and i was amazed especialle after reading bad comments here that I have paid on Monday and by Friday I have had a new plated displayed on the car how great is that. I have to mention lovely lady which was dealing with me most of the time so for her and all of the team thumbs up well done and thank you

Ordered a registration plate and paid in full in December. Was advised at the time it was available and that they had requested documentation from their seller, stating they had a contract with that seller which meant they were legally obliged to sell once a price had been agreed/achieved. I chased progress in mid-January after hearing no more to be told they hadn't received the documents, and by complete coincidence they'd pulled my file that morning to chase the seller....hmmm.

I then received a phone call later in the day to advise that the seller no longer had the plate available.

Long story short, Elite Registrations offer a shambolic service, they advertise plates which clearly aren't available, take your money, hold it for a month and whilst I've requested a refund I've yet to receive it. Avoid at all costs.

I sold to elite my plate just before I sold the car. Unlike others they offered me a fair and quick trade price. Everything settled within 14 days.

Made and enquiry about a plate, then afterwards it was no longer for sale! Then it's on there site for TRIPLE the price!!!!! PURE GREED! they bought it themselves and now has VaT too!!!!

They simply don't care and when I complained they say TOUGH!

Do not ever deal with this greedy company!!!!
