Kumho Tyres Waste Of Money
I bought a full set of Kumho tyres after being assured they were great value. I covered less than 8000 miles and had to replace them. I got back to the shop in Sleaford and was told that my driving was bad. I have been driving for over 30 years. I drive very carefully and never speed or brake unnecessarily. I wrote to Kumho many times without success. Please avoid them do not buy these tyres, they are overpriced and not worth the money, stick to the branded tyres.
btw the bad driver is being sarcastic as Newfoundlanders like to be :P
never exceeded beyond 130 kms on these tires and always on public highways or town driving.
I had the exact same problem actually just before 8k guess I'm a bad driver also. These tires are the worse tires I've ever put on any of my cars. Should be C rated not V. C for something I'm not aloud to post here lol so disappointed at the lack of quality from a manufacturer I once trusted. O well never again will I buy from Khumo!

Kuhmo Ku31. Fantastic.
I have had these on my Ford XR8 which has 300hp. They grip fantastic in the dry, in the wet a little less but still fantastic. Braking is great, handling is great. Remeber these are not a track tyre. So for an everyday performance tyre these things are amazing and cost less and are as good or out perform alot of the high end tyres including Continentals SII.
Would highly recommend them. They are an amazing day to day performance tyre and you really do get what your pay for.
There are better tyres out there. But the cost double or even more what these do...
Noise 7/10
Dry 8/10
Wet 7/10
Handling 8/10
Feedback 7/10
Go and try some!

Just Had 4 Of These Fitted To Some New Wheels For
Just had 4 of these fitted to some new wheels for my Astra VXR (225/35/19). I was a little worried as they seemed too cheap but after reading a few reviews I thought I would take a punt. So far (only done a few hundred miles) they are great, the grip in this damp winter wheather is great, I have fairly worn Toyo's on the front and they would let go at even quarter throttle in the damp but these dont (Then again, being new I would hope they wouldnt!). I have also chucked the car round a few tight bends and the car feels great, to find the limits of these tyres on the road you would really have to be going hell for leather or driving like a loon. On the dry days the tyres grip very well and seem to be handling the 290bhp with out any issues. So all in all I am very happy with the KU-31's. Very cheap for once dosnt mean poor quality. As for ware its far too early to say. But Conti Sport contacts lasted 8000 miles, then the Toyo's lasted 10000 miles so I am hoping these might last 15000....... we shall see. If the prices stays low I am sure I will be using them again.

These Are Quite Good Tires, Especially For Handlin
These are quite good tires, especially for handling and value for money.
My car is fitted with S-Drives at the back for maximum traction, and KU-31s at the front for the most responsiveness i can get, and this is a setup i would be very happy to put on any sports car. I have a relatively difficuly size of tyre to find (225-50-16), and the KU-31's were also some of the best priced performance tires available, just beware the KU-21...nowhere near as good value for money.
There is a bit of feathering on the inside tread, which is there for increased traction in the wet (and works quite well), only downside to theat is that once the first layer has worn off the tire noise increases slightly...not that thats noticable unless you drive a Prius :D
Extremely good tire, very worth the buy.

May 2010-i Have Had These Fitted To My Citroen C4
May 2010-I have had these fitted to my Citroen C4 1.6 sx and my Skoda Fabia 1.2 sport and they are excellent tyres. After doing 20K on my previus tyre on my C4 I changed all four tyres to Kumhos ku 31 approx 18months ago. I was a bit hesitant as I had never heard of Kumho before but my local tyre fitter-Tyldesley Tyres, who are very busy most of the time, advised me to go for the kumhos and gave me the cheapest price anywhere for fitting and balancing. I trusted the managers advice and bought four Kumohs for my C4.
I have just sold the c4 18 months later and the tyres have done 20k with around 2-3mm left on the front and around 3-4mm left on the rear.
I seriously cannot fault this tyre, good all round grip both in the wet and the dry, it was also good in the snow earlier this year. Noise level is low. I have total confidence in this tyre no matter what the conditions. Highly recommended. I will be buying these tyres again.
I found this review very helpful because I'm looking for tyres for my Mazda 6 and I need good performance without a lot of noise. Although the name is new to me it seems that these would be a good choice. Thanks

Khumo Ku31 225/55/17's. After Only A Few Thousand
Khumo KU31 225/55/17's. After only a few thousand miles, mainly Motorway less than half laden at average legal speeds, all 4 tyres have gone noisy. to the extent, with 5mm on rear and 7mm on front, my garage thought the rear wheel bearings needed replacing. When commencing the work, they noticed a "feathering" of the tread block, that was causing the noise. Maybe on a normal car, this might not be noticeable, but I bought these because they have a reputation for less road noise! Money I saved on wheel bearings will now be spent on 4 new tyres, only weeks after I forked out £400 for these! other than that, they are a good tyre - value for money. Clive Parker-Hinder

Replaced Stock Michelins With Ku31 Earlier This Ye
Replaced stock Michelins with KU31 earlier this year. 235/40-18 fronts and 245/40-18 rear. Noise level down. Excellent grip dry and wet. Cant say much on wear yet, but definitely worth the money. They may feel a bit softer than Michelins. But I am happy!

Very Impressed, My Car Has Limited Power Compared
Very impressed, my car has limited power compared to other stuff, but when fitted to the C1 i can definatley feel an improved ride. Did find them to be a little bit twitchy when pushing hard round a greasy wet roundabout, but then any tyre would be. Good enough for a car of this power and better than other budget brands. Better than the Yokohamas they replace in both the wet and the dry. Try EARS Motorsport in Macclesfield for Good Service and unbeatable price.

Exceptional Tyre For The Price, Around £95 F
Exceptional tyre for the price, around £95 fitted the cheapest ive found from Event mobile.(December 2009) Replacing kumhos that have completed about 25000 on the front of my MG ZT diesel , still 3 mm tread left on them, more on the back that will be replaced in the next few months with KU31z.
Grip and wear excellent as you can see. Only downside is perhaps increased road noise, but minimal. Make sure they are fitted correctly as are omidrectional tyres with rotational arrows- bear in mind that you can swap back and front same side but not acrooss axles as rotation will be wrong,
