My 83 K5 Blazer

I bought my K5 awhile back and I am very pleased with this truck. It has an 8" lift with 37" wrangler tires. I love the room inside that it provides and this truck has never let me down. It is literally a beast and my kids love it as well. They call it my monster truck. Parts are easy to find and is relatively easy to work on. If u are in to a great off road vehicle then I suggest the blazer. Swb makes it very nice to get in the mud and get right out. Will probably pass it on to my son one day.

I Am A Frenchie Born In Paris But Got To Berkeley

I am a Frenchie born in Paris but got to Berkeley University for fun in the early 2000. I bought that Chevy K5 Blazer Silverado 1983 Black (top removable) for 2000$ to carry my windsurfer rig. Dude, even in California that truck was a monster. I brought in back in France, and after many adventures I still own it. Yersterday, I drove it 1000 km in a row after 4 years of inactivity without a single hoc and I must say, this is the best 4x4 America has ever made !!!! And the look is so monstrous

My Blazer Is Pretty Damn Nice. I Wish It Had The O

My blazer is pretty damn nice. I wish it had the old body style where the top came off but people like it the way it is. It only has a three inch body with 33s on it but I would like to get a 14 inch suspension lift for it at BNC off road

I Paid $800 For My Chevrolet K5 Blazer And I Can't

I paid $800 for my Chevrolet K5 Blazer and I can't complain a bit. Ebay auction that went bad for the seller. It's so easy to get parts for it being that the body and interior was used on the blazer, jimmy, suburban, pick-up, etc.... for several years. If you get bored, just hit up a junkyard and upgrade something for next to nothing. I got it from a guy that only used it for wheeling and then let it sit for a year and a half outside his house. When I got it, it started right up and I drove it across the state to get it home. Only problem was the thermostat stuck and I started to overheat. So, I pulled over, let it cool, pulled it out, and went on my way.... To freaking cool!!! I love it, and my last truck was a 2001 Dodge Ram with 4 in lift and 36in mudders. Comfortable, but not a great wheeler. Not to mention, there's a huge difference in $30,000 and $800 you can't ignore. I think it's great.
