Jeep Cherokee 2.8 CRD Limited

It's a great car with a lot of power and it's fun to drive. I have the Renegade so it looks great as well ;)

A very comfortable car and it makes a great tow car for a large caravan.

I am disappointed in the economy/fuel consumption - it returns about 28mpg solo and between 18 and 20 towing and I am a steady driver. That said we have taken our Jeep/caravan combination to some fantastic out of the way camp sites and it has performed well.

We have had a few niggles, ERG pipe failed and now a 2nd glow plug seems to be causing problems but it hasn't let us down.

It's too soon for me to recommend the vehicle - I like the Jeep and it fits our needs well but economy and a few maintenance issues are niggling me.

Do not buy a Jeep. Portsmouth's Jeep dealer is very poor, dont answer phones, dont return calls etc. My gear box has failed at 45,ooo miles and Jeeps uk's very patronising lady said that they could not repair, as the gearbox on any car could fail at any time and its not there responsibility if our has failed at 45,000 miles because the car is 5 years old. The fuel consumption is awfull for a diesel expect 27mpg and it depreciates like a stone. I think the fact that the gearbox only lasted 45,000k miles is a good illustration of the quality of there products and the responce I received illustrates the customer service you can expect, avoid at all costs.

I have Jeep Cherokee 2.8 crd for a month now. I have fallen in love with this car. it is powerful and fast while on the other hand it is very economical yet it is a big car. It is stylish and handly. It is good for both Male and female drivers. I love jeep.

Good buy never thought i would buy a jeep after owning bmw and Toyota 4x4's. This will be a start of a long line i think.

Brilliant car, shame that due to the governments war against 4x4's the depreciation and therefore resale value is poor.

Great all round jeep, fun and luxurious with everything that you would want in a jeep and just like driving an oversized car.

This is my 3rd jeep, and it's quirky, different, practical, comfortable and economical.

It is my 2nd Jeep Cherokee Renegade 2.8 crd and by far the best 4x4 I have owned, in the past I have had 9 4x4s .

I have had my Jeep Cherokee 2.8 CRD Limited for a few weeks now, and I love it!

There have been a few niggles, but the dealer fixed them without a problem.

I cannot believe how economical it is for such a large vehicle.

I tried Mercedes, Kia, BMW, Volvo and Audi, but the Jeep was different, and the value for money was incredible for a 3 year old car. For the same money I was looking at a 6 year old Mercedes with plenty of miles, and it has the same engine and gearbox!
