Only Had The Car A Couple Of Months But Am Really
Only had the car a couple of months but am really impressed with it. As soon as I took it for a test drive I wanted it. It's good points in my opinion far out way its bad points. The 1.2 engine is OK but won't blow you away. However, I didn't buy the car to be a speed freak, I bought it because it was economical and cheap on road tax and insurance. I do about 20K miles a year and needed a car that was going to be reliable and cheap to run - important factors, and I have to say the Stilo ticks those boxes. That doesn't mean to say its slow, it can easily top 100 mph and feels like you're doing 70-80. 6th gear takes a bit of getting use to but slip in too it at 70 mph and the revs drop by about 500. Nice driving position. I really like the look of the 3 door version. It's distinctive and is a refreshing change to seeing so many ford focus and Vauxhall Astra's around. Really can't understand why you don't see more Stilos on the road. Perhaps due to poor advertising and teething problems when it first came out. Would recommend it to anyone considering a similar sized car, but be quick Fiat are bringing out a new updated Bravo next year to replace it.
