Smart And Fast
mike A really nice little car ,well made ,economy reasonable and a really effective 3rd gear, but road noise irritating, a common problem on manycars these days i fear and think manufacturers are ignoring this complaint.Plenty of room for its size but am getting a smell coming in rather like warm oil but no sign of any leeks this is just occasional but annoying ,anyone got any ideas out there as to what it could be as the garage cant find it? mike.

Bought A Sliver 3 Door New In September 2005 And H
bought a sliver 3 door new in September 2005 and have covered about 30k in it. Good things? the handling, its real sticky and great to chuck around - i would say it rolls less than an MG ZS180 that i also have and its not a tired one - only 20k on it. 195/50 tyres help - theyre a big tyre for a little car. Cant out accelerate a nova but round the roundabouts your in the big league. Bad things? remote control fob intermittent now and doesnt open boot anymore, rear split seat catch just stopped working - used twice!! Pax seat does not tilt fwd now as cable mech snapped. in nearly six years have put on some wiper blades and replaced all 4 tyres last october. Thats it, no brake parts or battery - so pretty good going. Good on fuel you can get into the 40's with ease - and no point revving the nuts off it as it wont get you anywhere - but hey thats not what you bought if for. Handling finesse an unexpected bonus.

Good First Car, No It's Not Fast, It Doesnt Like B
Good first car, no it's not fast, it doesnt like being loaded with 2 dogs and 3 people but for day to day running around it is great. I would suggest the 5 door for practicality. It can get quite nippy with just me in it and corners REALLY well (i've driven Jaguars,Aston Martins etc) and I love going fast around corners in this, it rolls just right. It does eat fuel when laidened down but it's not made for that. It's very comfortable, good for insurance and car tax and i've driven mine about 20,000 miles and love it.
