This Is The Second Occasion We Have Hired This Car
This is the second occasion we have hired this car (in Guernsey and Jersey - max speed 35mph or there abouts). The engine is gutless particulary uphill unless you rev it hard. The driving controls are not well placed e.g the lighting switch to the right of the steering wheel. In strong sunlight dashboard relections on the windscreen are a hazard (our Honda Jazz also suffers). This is a girly car, by that I mean its style over function but nonetheless it drives well with the handling and suspension being the usual Ford speciality. However, the biggest gripe is the 'A' post on the drivers door. Because of the steep rake angle towards the rear of the car it a real 'head banger' on entry and a practice piece for a contortionist on exit. But all in all it is value for money with reasonable fit and finish.I would not buy this car because of the foregoing but if you are short of funds and need a set of wheels that you can sell on go for it - but a bone dome is a requirement if you are over 5ft 6in.

In Overall, This Vehicle Is The Best In Its Class(
In overall, this vehicle is the best in its class(&price) even you can compare it with 2010 model peugeot, hyundai, renault, mitsubishi, fiat colleagues with following subjects. Steering, chassis, engine, transmission, shifting, clutch pedal, brake and gas pedal, stability is perfect, but take care about the engine lubrication, do what ford advices 5W30(EXPENSIVE)but vehicle deserves it. Thanks to ford engineers and workers.

I Bought The Ford Fiesta Zetec Lx 1.25i As A Basic
I bought the Ford Fiesta Zetec LX 1.25i as a basic runaround, as my previous car (Rover 400) died a death after years of driveway repairs. I didn't want anything flashy, just something to get me from A to B and hopefully C.
I have had the car a year now, and I can honestly say that aside from services every 4 months, I have never had to get underneath this car once. The Zetec engine is very very nippy, and the driving position is spot on for a small car.
As for extras; mine came fully loaded with the air con, heated front screen, and alloys etc., but I never use the air con because the extra strain on the engine makes the petrol needle drop in double quick time!!
I haven't modified the Fiesta in anyway, short of putting an air freshener in, and I still think it's the best car I have driven.
Well done Ford for making a solid, simple car.

The Ford Fiesta Zetec Lx 1.25i Is Quick For Engine
The Ford Fiesta Zetec LX 1.25i is quick for engine the size, the running costs are ok. Handling is great, Its never broke down, always starts 1st or 2nd time. It has a Quickclear windscreen - no need to scrape windscreen on winter mornings or have a useless blower doing my head in when screen mists up. and it has Air Conditioning.
There are many bad points - Poor Build Quaitly, Not worth the money, Its quite boring, Comfort is Very Poor, Unbearable Very Very loud road and wind nose on motorway, Paint work very Poor just rubs off, Engine bar broke off, Should NOT have happed, Gearbox quite poor.
I have now replaced it with 1994 Sierra Ghia 4X4 2.0i DOHC which is 100 times better.
Comfort even better than my leather sofa, But my Ghia 4x4 as leather heated seats and about everything but satelite navigation and DVD.
Just because a car is new does not mean that it is better than a older one.
