The Vauxhall Astra Estate Is Spacious For A 'compa
The Vauxhall astra estate is spacious for a 'compact', good luggage space, well equipped for a nine-year-old car. Comfortable on long trips, equally adept at pottering around town.
A really good all-rounder. No single aspect of this car is a class leader, but as an overall package it's hard to beat. If you want chic and funky forget it, if it's reliable practicality you're after this is well worth a look.
I hadn't even thought to check about ABS! - you do just expect things like that to be standard. I had difficulty choosing between and Astra and Vectra. After reading these reviews, Astra has got to be the car for me.
Thank you for taking the time to give your comments - it has been really helpful.

I Find My Vauxhall Astra To Be Both Reliable And E
I find my Vauxhall Astra to be both reliable and economic to run I have previously owned Ford Mondeo and sieras but they are no match for my astra and were always off the road for one repair or another.

For The Size The Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Ls 16v Has A B
For the size the Vauxhall Astra 1.6 LS 16v has a brilliant capacity, helped by the width between the wheelarches ( 1100mm ). Good acceleration and hillclimbing even when loaded, 40mpg average. Rear seats have three full lap and diagonal belts.
No problems in 48,000 miles except for lamp replacements, and a problem where water had caused corrsion around a number plate lamp.
