I Bought This Car Almost 2 Years Ago, In Pistaccio

I bought this car almost 2 years ago, in pistaccio green (BMW name for gold) it came with a matching half leather interior, and in my opinion is the best colour combination you can get for this car. If you like to stand out anyway, i do! The only way to distinguish this 2.5ltr 192bhp compact over the lesser variants is the juicy twin exhaust pipes. If anyone still has any doubts that this car is to be respected, a turn of the ignition key sure will. This car growls and burbles to life for a few seconds before settling down to a gentle smooth hum. A little tap of the throttle will instantly reawaken the beast. The performance of this car is very good, and you struggle to find many cars who will give you a good race away from the traffic lights. The handling is very tight and precise, and in dry conditions feels like its on rails, although you can still have lots of fun flicking the tail out. Word of warning though, in wet conditions keep the traction on, as this car can get very skittish from the rear. But anyone who has owned powerful rear wheel drive cars will know this. The suspension is very firm andunforgiving, (especially on 18inch alloys with super low profile tyres). Mechanically this car is sound, mine now has 100k miles and is still silky smooth. There are however a few common electrical gremlins i.e oil sensor failure, air bag warning light, rear wiper motor. Also the cooling system suffers a few problems. These problems although annoying, rarely merit a fix, especially not from BMW themselves. Air bag warning light is a £10 diy fix. Overall this is a fantastic car with good performance, and this will definately be my first of many BMWs. Something I forgot to add, running costs: fuel is the main expense for me, i rarely get more than 20mpg but I drive very hard and live in London. Insurance: I pay £800 fully comprehensive but I am a 21 year old male with only 3 years no claim bonus. Service: £200-300 with BMW but I service my own car as I don't like being robbed! I definately recommend this car, you wont regret it!

Bmw's, Merc's, Ford's, Vauxhalls I Have Had Em All

BMW's, merc's, ford's, vauxhalls i have had em all and nothing comes as close to the fun of this car,opt for the m sport package model and you will not be dissapointed(thats if you can find one).headlight arrangement not to everyones taste.

Just wish there was more performance aftermarket parts available.

Insurance is cheaper than a e46 325 coupe as well, my insurance costs me less than 350gbp fully comp(535gbp for the 325e46 coupe)

The 325ti is quicker off the mark than the coupe as well.

As usual dealer services are quite expensive and mpg goes out of the window but who cares?why build a sports car and drive like an 80 year old at 56mph trying to squeeze the best mpg out of a car.

Supercharger here we come!

The Bmw 325 Is By Far The Best Car I've Ever Owned

The BMW 325 is by far the best car I've ever owned, it drives superb, the quality feel of the car is second to none. The engine sounds fantastic in the higher rev range and the car has never given me any problems in the 3 years I've owned it, only downside is the fuel consumption, you have to drive like your grandad to get 30 mpg out of it! Servicing costs are high to as with all BMW's. Apart from that its a fantastic car that I'd recommend to anyone, however if fuel consumption is important to you then opt for the 316 version.

The Bmw 3 Series 325ti Compact Se Is The Best Car

The BMW 3 Series 325ti Compact SE is the best car I have ever owed in 38 years of motoring. The performance is great and it has fantastic reliability. I've had it for 5 years now and it's absolutely great. The only thing I'm told is the rear seat comfort is not the best.
