I Bought My 2005 Manual S-type Sport Diesel In Sum

I bought my 2005 manual S-type Sport diesel in summer 2010 and have been surprised and delighted by it. My buying criteria were that I wanted a fast, stylish and practical family car that stands out from the crowd without being expensive run. All of these were met by the Jag.

I get 36 MPG, the handling is great for a big car, and the accelleration is very stong, particularly over 40MPH.

The engine is very smooth and quiet. You can't tell it's a diesel, even under hard accelleration, and it pulls cleanly from lower revs than many diesels.

The interior is as comfortable as you would expect from Jag, and very well put together. The boot is big and has a remote opener, which is very convinient when approaching the car with shopping.

The only gripes I have about my Jag are that the parking sensors don't always work and that the heater seems to default to air conditioning 'on' too easily the controls don't the ventilation options you might expect.

Overall it's a very satisfying car to own and drive that was cheap to buy and has so far been cheap to run.
