Best Bang For The Buck
Started in 2006 with our first S60T. My wife loved driving with the confidence the turbo gives get on the highway we had to get the S80T in 2009. Car is awesome to drive and either has ever let us down. Ready to trade in for the 2012 in a few months. I've compared to the BMW and C-Class MB the S80T wins. When you add the fact when I compare the S80T and my Jeep Liberty insurance costs where I pay almost $1,500 more for insurance for the jeep there's no doubt in our house we feel the Volvo S80T gets the Best Bang for the Buck. Next year the C90 will be parked behind the S80T. There lease deals are the best there is.

I bought this S80T one year ago, at 60 000 miles, and it was a superb deal for the money. Every morning I enjoy entering in my car to drive to the office. Good engine, good ride, can be sporty too when above 5 000 rpm (but you have to disconnet the DSTC control). Well I could not have sk for more.

I Owned My Volvo T6 For Over 12 Months And It Didn
I owned my Volvo T6 for over 12 months and it didn't go wrong once. Ultra reliable and that with 120K miles on the clock. Since the I have had an MGZT 2.5 V6 (for 6 terrible weeks) and currently have an Hyundai Coupe V6 which I am going to sell soon to buy another S80 as I am now a convert. Probably will get the D5 for fuel econony.

I Bought A Volvo S80 T-6 In Novembre 2005 Because
I bought a Volvo S80 T-6 in Novembre 2005 because it was recommended to me by a freind. Since the day I have bought it, I have loved it and always looked forward to driving my car more and more. The S80 is an amazing car with exceptional ride comfort and performence. This car is also seen as a luxury saloon compared to the German barrier of Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

I Was Not A Volvo Fan When I Took My Wife To See T
I was not a Volvo fan when I took my wife to see the XC90. She did not want to buy at that time but we saw a 2002 S80 T6, end of year deal. I drove it, love the horsepower, loved the ride, could not believe it was a Volvo. 0-6 is 6.5, top speed of 155? A Volvo? That power means the engine is not stressed too much on the interstate. Got a super deal, $10,000 off and I bought my first (and only to date) Volvo.
Car is two years old, still gets great comments from people who love the styling, the color, the ride. I am disappoined Volvo is not keeping the T6 as those turbos have been perfect to date for me. Recently looked at other cars if I were to trade my Volvo in; BMW 530, Aucra RL, Lexus IS 330 and Caddys but keeping the S80 T6 for now. I have the power, the comfortable ride, better gas mileage, good storage in the trunk, and a great looking car to boot. Why trade now?
I would not have the S80 2.9 or 2.5T as they simply do not have the extra boost of the T6. The V8 reads like a gas guzzler which with the price of gas, I cannot afford. I would recommend a Volvo S80 T6. Excellent car.

The Volvo S80 T-6 Is A Safe Car But For The Money
The Volvo S80 T-6 is a safe car but for the money I wished I had listened to reason and bought a BMW 528/540.

Volvo S80-t6 Has Certainly Good Features Such As E
Volvo S80-T6 has certainly good features such as engine, brakes and safety, it seems however, that the design of interior items, naming few: awkward radio controls, dashboard information hard to see in daylight, tiny lights indicating vents, and more were left without much attention. Reliability also totally unacceptable. For the price, Japanese cars are an order of magnitude better designed.
you need to get a new pair of glasses then you may see that the volvos interior is more user friendly then any of its competitors

I Am In Charge Of A Test Fleet Of Cars And Have 2
I am in charge of a test fleet of cars and have 2 1999 S80s. The small 2.9L motor could definitely use a little help on the lower end, but the power seems to surge on once you turn around 3500RPM. The evasive manuevering ability of the vehicle was highlighted several times by responsive cornering, even over rough pavemant. The main recurring problem that I have with them is a faulty fuel management component, located on the air intake, that keeps failing; I guess running 24/7 for a few months straight may due that to a car. In comparison with other cars I test, these vehicles cost less than average to maintain (please remember the cost of parts/labor is high) and the reliability on-average is good 310K miles and over 60K hours besides the miles. Not too bad.

My Volvo S80 T-6 Has Given 10,000 Trouble Free Mil
My Volvo S80 T-6 has given 10,000 trouble free miles but that is to be expected. This is my first Volvo (s80 t6)based on the recommendation of my brother who drove his hard and long. Rarely do you read or write about a car if you love it, most postings are from folks naffed off at service or the performance of their vehicle. I owned an 89 Ford Sho and just loved it, that is rare. I will soon modify the performance of the car and hope it holds up. If so, I will be back for another.

I Have Never Been A Volvo Man Before. I Saw The Ne
I have never been a volvo man before. I saw the new Volvo S80 T-6 and fell in love. It's great-i have had it for a year and it's still great. It's fast and turns heads, it's TWIN light pressure TURBOS are smooth and fast!!
Like other reviews the little dash mounted screen does tell me on a regular basis about air bags etc. But still better to know then to be in an accident and get killed!!
The volvo name is great too. Professional, educated, middle class!! Can you get any better!!?!?! No!!
A dream to own and service, drives like a BMW too. The ONLY rival to 5 series, but not quite as good to drive. Bigger boot, and no nasty BMW Image so many want but dont understand.
A good car £38K well spend. Will be back at Volvo soon for another!!
