I love this car....has never gone wrong or let me down. I have a top-of-the-range one with sunroof/leather interior/ remote locking etc. as well as an automatic gearbox. There
is nothing I dislike about it really. I expect to keep it for another few years.

Had s Citroen grand Picasso prior to the Matrix and was so tired of reliability issues I sold it for the Hyundai which has been excellent. The Matrix is a good basic car, no fancy electronics like the Citroen that can go wrong, just 100% reliabilty. It cost £3900 for a three year old 16000 mile 1.6 gsi which I'd outstanding value. The car looks a bit dated but it does what I need it to do. I lost the same value on the Picasso in eight months and it was always in the garage. If your not keeping up with the Jones buy one.

I Purchased This Car For £1150 As A Run Abou
I purchased this car for £1150 as a run about to get me to work and back and spent £300 on a service and a new cam belt kit. Its plus points are thats its comfortable and has plenty of room. Everything works and it starts first time even in the recent arctic weather.
The downside is its expensive to tax £235 for 12 months and the fuel consumption. I can do no better than 32mpg overall which is much less than the Whatcar test figures or the manufacturers. I dont drive it hard so its a bit dissapointing but overall I am pleased with the car.

Very reliable and comfortable. 2 new tyres in 5 years being the only cost apart from yearly services and high road tax. A little noisy on motorways.
Plenty of leg room back and front. Large boot with removable shelf and drop down rear seats. Good lumbar support. Easy entry and exit for less able users. Value for money
