My Question Relates To Performance Reviews, In Tha

My question relates to performance reviews, in that, I am looking for information that might be out there, perhaps other owners may have similar

problems. I want to find out if there is a reason for me pursue this with the manufacturer. Is there a pattern?

Thank You

HELP IF anyones had the same experience and know what to do or why it's doing that please let me know why ASAP PLEASE

driven.

I have a '94 Nissan Quest. Same engine virtually same design & smarts..

Yes there is a defficiency in power if the van is loaded and if the a/c is on. However, if you can live with that, the vehicle is extremely reliable. powertrained by the older Nissan Maxima & pathfinder 3.0 engine. You should not have seen any trouble with the transmission. I think you got a one in a million. You never know what the previous owner did with it. Does/did it have a trailer hitch?

After driving 147,000+ trouble free miles I came to really appreciate my 96 Mercury Villager! This vehicle never once stranded me or anyone in my family. Never a rattle, a beep or whir out of place. Just a good, solid, well made vehicle! I was just hit head on by a woman having seizures and the van was totalled... with no injuries on our side... I'm gonna miss that van!

Good car indead... Been driving a similar 95 Quest for the past five years (bought it second hand) and still after 200 000 klicks runs fairly well. No major problems but still some weaknesses to anticipate: costly manifold problems, radiator and a few minor coolant leaks, ball joint replacements, fuel pump, rear a/c complications, due to corrosion. But both Transmission and engine run smoothly. This purchase has been a satisfactory experience and I too expect to run it for another three or four years. Exceptional value...

We Replaced Our 1994 Ford Aerostar, Which We Loved

We replaced our 1994 Ford Aerostar, which we loved! I didn't realize other vans were that much better until I had something different. I didn't notice it road like a truck and handled like a truck until I began driving my "limo"!! We have two rows of captions chairs, the middle row can be removed, yes even by Mom, and the back bench can be moved to four different positions or if the middle row is left in place the bench can be moved up to them. It's soooo easy, just the flip of a handle! All the controls are simple to learn and remember. I love the fact that the 6 disc CD changer is hidden by a sliding panel - no more changing face plates or like in our other car running to the trunk to change the CD's! Having the driver's side sliding door is absolutely wonderful!!! The only thing I would change is to make it a little longer. When you're carrying 7 passengers your have very little storage space. It's less than our "standard length" Aerostar. Performance has been wonderful. I expect things like battery life as mentioned in another review to vary, ours came with a 24 months battery and is still going strong! Tire life seems great, so far we've got 19,000 miles on them.

I have a '96 with 63,000 miles on it. Overall relaibility has been great and it has only required routine servicing - just a few niggling problems - the rear wiper motor burned out for the second time, and the battery failed after 2 years.

Dealer service has not been great (or cheap), but there are plenty of good independent shops out there.

The car rides and handles great for a van, acceleration is acceptable. Ok - it's a bit on the small size if you need to haul 7 passengers and lots of luggage at the same time, but my wife finds it much easier to handle than the larger vans on the market.
