Renault Scenic 2.0 16v Monaco

I would never buy a Renault car again after the trouble i have gone through with my Scenic Monaco. I would certainly advise friends to stay well clear of any Renault car.

I bought the Renault Scenic 2.0 16v Monaco people carrier after having a Clio and needing a bigger car. The only bad thing is the cornering, but that has to be expected on this sort of car. It is thirsty, I can only get low 30's to the gallon if I drive VERY carefully, usually about 26mpg otherwise. Good points, very fast, 140BHP - 125/130mph top speed, engine sounds very nice if you have the window open, otherwise you can't hear a great deal at all. This car is fully equipped, leather, CD changer, all electric windows, two electric sunroofs, air con, very safe (4 star NCAP award) very manoeuvrable at low speeds, good turning circle, great on the motorway, easy to overtake has power in all gears.

I bought this in Oct '03 and I am the second owner, it is now on 38,000 miles, and has not had any problems at all, servicing is comparable to other similar cars, I would recommedend this car to others.
