Handling is great, its as nippy as a hatchback, petrol consumption good for a big car and its sporty.
I love this car, I used to own a Chrysler Voyager (stay away from them) and this is more practical and fun.

I Owned The Sharan For 3 Yrs, And It Was Probably
I owned the Sharan for 3 yrs, and it was probably the worse car I have ever owned. I wasn't going to buy another VW (they are all VWs under the skin), but this one was practically new and a good price and MK2. They have fixed a lot of the problems of the MK1 designwise, and I hoped the aircon was improved. I have driven approx 30000 miles in the 3yrs I have owned this one and really the only major problem has been the AC, but this is an expensive problem

The Seat Alhambra's Electrical System Is Very Poor
The Seat Alhambra's electrical system is very poor. Constantly replacing headlight and tail lamp bulbs. Aircon system packed in after one year and Swedish dealer would not honour the UK 3 yr warranty. Brake pad sensor connectors disintegrated. Windcreen wipers packed in - siezed bearings. Interior trim - all the soft paint has peeled. Various plastic trim has fallen off. Tail lamps accumulate water. Passenger window has packed in this week - careful - you have to destroy the door trim to get it off!
