New Car Sold After 10 Months - Draw Your Own Conclusions
Never believe the marketing hype.
Very noisy and unrefined, poor fuel economy.
Shoddy build quality, full of squeaks and rattles, driver's door and tailgate leaked badly and dealers could not fix after about 10 attempts.
Broke down four times in 10 months.
Dealers didn't have the slightest idea about keeping customers on the road or fixing things as they broke.
Crazy rear seat arrangement means use of bungees to secure rear seats when folded - in this day and age?
Meanwhile Skoda's fanboy forum is full of people who LOVE going to their dealers time and time again and there is a popular view that a number of issues is inevitable with a new car. You may get good service from the dealer (I didn't) but the best dealer service on a new car is not to need it at all, and the only acceptable level of quality on a new car is ZERO faults.
