I Have Owned My Tt 225 Roadster For 2 Years. Okay
I have owned my TT 225 roadster for 2 years. Okay the boot is big enough for a thimble sized overnight bag but I didn't buy it to carry suitcases and the weekly shop. I bought it to have some fun in life. When the sun is out there's nothing finer the feel the awesome power of such a little car. It sounds fantastic and holds the road extremely well. I never got stuck in the snow this winter and would definitely recommend it. It is heavy on juice but they are not for those who want to cruise. I had a Lexus is200 before and much prefer the raw power of the TT.

Beautiful Stylish Car, Ahead Of It's Time 10 Years
Beautiful stylish car, ahead of it's time 10 years ago. The Quattro holds the road brilliantly even in the snow and ice. Very reliable powerful 225 bhp engine. Medium sized boot somewhat spoiled by the fact the rear seats do not fold down completely but stay at an obstinate 45 degree angle! In built 6 CD changer, Bose sound system, heated leather front seats, 6 speed gearbox, 10 year anti-rust warranty, superb build quality as you would expect from Audi. Totally recommended if you like speed and style.
The only downside is the measly 29.9 mpg and with petrol prices like they are it's an expense I can no longer justify.

The Audi Tt 225 Bhp Is The Ultimate Car Which Not
The Audi TT 225 BHP is the ultimate car which not only turns heads but gives the the extra edge in the way the car performs and handles itself, this car is purley for the one's who knows how to roll on the streets, its concept design leaves you with nothing but satisfaction, ok maybe the boot could be bigger but the power behind this small engine is brilliant the quattro is definatly superb!! the only thing i could fault is suitable cup holders..!! finally would recommend to anyone who wants to buy a mini sports car which has power handling and looks, for good value for money,

The 225bhp Version Coupe Is The One To Go For. It
The 225bhp version Coupe is the one to go for. Its quick off the mark and there aren't many cars that can give it a run for its money at the traffic light drag strip.
Some people complain about the harsh ride but its 2 seater sports coupe, what do you expect - if you want comfort get a Mercedes or Lexus.
No real complaints here really apart from there is no where to put your Macdonalds Cola unless you purchase a cup holder which can cost upwards of £80..!!
The boot space is excellent for this class of vehicle and I can quite easily fit the weeks food shop for 2 adults and a baby with no problem. A set of golf clubs can be swallowed whole if you put the seats down (coupe version) and snowboard and gear will fit nicely with the weekend bag too.
The quattro system is as safe as houses and it will make sure you don't lose your footing in the wet, snow or anything else nature cares to throw at you however - that doesn't mean you can be a silly boy and corner at extreme speeds.

For An Everyday Car... Young Professional... All T
For an everyday car... young professional... all that it lacks is space in the trunk... it is meant for a certain kind of individual... the kind that likes smooth clean lines and reliable looks. Of course there are newer cars out there... please don't say the 350Z... it looks weak!!! Yes the Porsche 911 is the stand alone... and the TT was the first to deviate the automobile design world... ask yourself... 15 years from now... when it becomes a classic... why didn't you hang onto one?

This Is A Review Of The 225bhp Tt (the 180bhp Vers
This is a review of the 225BHP TT (the 180BHP version is purely a possers car without the power).
In the style game this car is very hard to fault, its smooth outside lines are always attractive from any angle, while the interior is a genuine work of art.
The TT is now not as uncommon as it was in the early days.... in London you'll see more TTs on your way to work than the new Mini (ie. VERY common)...... not good if you like something out of the ordinary.
Performance wise is where the TT fails to deliver...... on paper it has all the right ingredients for an exciting drive..... on the road the TT doesn't seem to live up to expectations. In a straight line the TTs pace is very good..... enought to see off the Max Power Nova brigade. Round corners the TT has plenty of grip and electronic aids to help keep you on the road. The areas where the TT fail are in driver involvement...... the steering is vauge, there is no sense of speed, the gear change could be better..... all in all this is not a good drivers car.
I disagree with this review because the TT is so much fun to drive, the responce from the car is instantly enjoyable, the interior trim is excellent as you would expect from Audi. Nissan 350 is a performance car, but look closely at the ticky tacky plasticy dashboard and you will find it is way down market from Audi. Value for money on the second hand market is very good if you avoid the Audi dealers as they are way over the top with their prices.
I agree with most comments, however I have a 180hp TT and performance wise the 225 is 1 second quicker to 62 and 1.5 seconds to 100mph quicker.
Hardly a posers car, and I've kept up with boy racers in the 225 comfortably until approaching 100 mph and then I had to slow down for traffic reasons.
Apart from that point I agree with everything else.
Have had 2 TT Roadsters (225) and they are the best cars I have ever had. Hubbie has an A8 which I have to say it pretty magnificent but for handling I think the TT is best in the range and I LOVE it.
The 180 I have recently purchased, and it is more than just a posers car, it delivers when needed and turns heads just the same as a 225. In my opinion the TT is a lady's car.
Just let me say Nissan 350z
1, Top gear car of the year
2, Auto express best car to drive of the year.
Q&A
What is the volume, in litres, of the 2003 Quattro Roadster Boot?
