Nissan Skyline R33 Gts-t
Had my 1996 Spec II GTS-T for a month now. Don't know why it's taken this long to get one. The body kit and Wheels give it absolutely amazing looks. Haven't given it a true test yet as it scared the hell out of me on the test drive. Got the car really cheap knowing it needed 4 new tyres and a cambelt service. The service and cambelt were surprisingly cheap. The fuel consumption is nowhere near as bad as i expected. An absolute peach to drive with a wonderful exhaust note. Has that real robust feeling that only Jap cars have. If you're comtemplating a Skyline, don't, just buy one!

What A Car!!
I have had the pleasure of owning a number of cars, and decided to buy and sell sports cars. I after several years came across a R33 skyline gts, and I have never looked back since.
I now own a limited edition Tommy Kaira R33 GTR and with the sensible modifications it's running not many cars on the road today can give this beast a run for it's money. You have to know about your cars to know what your looking at when you see one, many people driving high performance cars underestimate the skyline at their peril.
Depending on the depth of the pockets of the driver, you could find yourself sitting next to a skyline at the lights with anywhere from 250 to 750 horses under the bonnet, and the best thing is you will never know until you see those ever glowing four red tail lights disappearing into the distance.
For it's age the R33 still has a presence where ever it goes and the glances from other road users and those on foot will never diminish. Fueling the beast let's face it was always going to be a concern, but when you have a pet dragon you don't complain about how thirsty it is you just enjoy when it spits flames. The car drinks like an alcoholic but if one can keep of the boost, mpg improves significantly. Insurance can be a problem (Group 20) but this car can be deadly in the wrong hands.
Overall a fantastic buy. 10/10
Agreed.
My 590 hp GTR 95 R33 releases endorphins and serotonin at a rate no drug could ever imitate.
Going through Perth tunnel is a sound that moves the soul...
Know what ya saying Bro. If an when us GTS-t owners are cruising out on a daily tour it seems that everyone wants to take us on. But realistically they only realy want us to give them a show of what our beasts are made of, and what they sound like, cause as us car doods know theres realy nothing better sounding than a gt skyline accelarating through the gears.. and ive had Chevs and all sorts of V8s but the Nissan gives me a thrill every time i get time to take it out.

Recently picked up a 95 GTR V-Spec. Great pickup and torque. The GTR feels nice and planted on the road. Very roomy for a sports car, seats four adults comfortably.

Had My R33 Gts-t For About 18 Months. What A Fanta
Had my R33 GTS-t for about 18 months. What a fantastic machine. Some very nice mods by the lads at Rising Sun see about 315BHP.
At the time I was looking for a Mitsy EVO but couldnt find one I liked.
While driving home from looking at another sad Mitsy a Skyline came past me on the motorway like I was standing still (although I was doing nearly 90).That was the moment. I had to have one.
Mine looks fantastic, sounds even better and goes like a scolded rabbit. This car and I are going to have a very long relationship.
If you've never had one, definately buy one.

Q&A
I'm looking at a 1996 Nissan Skyline R33. What should I look at before getting it, and what issues come up? I'm a student and my budget is very limited. I'm getting it for around £6k and aesthetically it looks amazing.
