Poor Build Quality
Bought an Elddis Chatsworth/Avante caravan from new and it was the worst purchase I have ever made. Within the first year I had electric faults, structural faults, fixture and fitting faults and damp.
I reported the faults to the manufacturer but all they could do was assure me that they conduct the required checks in the factory to avoid such issues! Not of much help to me.
Be very weary of these 2012 models.
WATER PIPE BLEW OFF BOILER FIRST TIME OUT FLOODING MY NEW ELDDIS CHATSWORTH LAST YEAR .THE VAN THEN FAILED ITS FIRST DAMP TEST .THIS YEAR THE FRIDGE FAILED THE SINK LEAKED AND THE VAN WAS FLOODED WHEN BOTH ROOF LIGHT FRAMES CRACKED AND ALLOWED RAIN TO POUR IN.MY 19 MONTH VAN IS NOW BACK AT THE ELDDIS FACTORY FOR A REBUILD? MUST GO NOW AS I NEED ANOTHER BLOODPRESSURE PILL
Has anybody had hot water system problems e.g. Hoses coming off causing flooding?.
