Halfords Digital Tyre Inflator

I invested in a Digital Tyre inflator after the regular trips to the nearest petrol station (and the inevitable 30 minute queues I invariably find there) were becoming annoying and boring.I'd been advised to get one of these by both a colleague and also the dealership I bought my car from. The key things that were cited by both were:

• The Law of Averages states that car tyres wait until you're miles from the nearest service garage before they self-deflate and make your car un-driveable.
• Standing next to your car when on the hard shoulder in the middle of winter trying to re-inflate a flat tyre with a foot pump is not the most enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

So, I took the easy option of buying a digital tyre inflator. This at least gives me the added option of removing the guesswork and not needing to squint to read a microscopic needle on a badly scratched analogue dial.The great thing is that this is very quick to use. I can "top-up" four tyres in little over 5 minutes, which is great when the rain arrives and you just want to get the car going.Although these things may seem a bit pricey, but it's better to be safe than sorry, I suppose!
