After the timing chain failed On my Bmw 520d f10 model really didn’t know where to take it I rang Bmw and I would have to take out a mortgage to have it repaired then a friend of mine told me of the company in rover way I rang them and they gave me a great price .when I had the car back it ran better than before I was over the moon with it so if any one gets engine trouble go to this company they were brilliant thanks guy’s.

Very helpful from the start. My car now drives better than ever, fuel economy has now increased. I would recommend these people to everyone. 5 Stars.

I have dealt with this man and his team at the National Engine Centre for several years now. I have always had top quality service from them. They arrange free pick-up of your car if it is damaged or needs repaired, and will give you a temporary vehicle - free of charge - whilst they carry out the work on your vehicle. I bought an M5 from someone whom I thought was a reputable dealer. When I took it to the person I dealt with for a service, he fully inspected the car and found several faults. Although he did not have to, he spoke to the so-called “trader” on my behalf and transported the vehicle back. I then got a fantastic deal on another vehicle - which I still have. I have no hesitation in recommending these guys. As with all things in life, you have to build a rapor with people. Yes, of course you are paying for a service, but business works so much better if people talk rather than just complaining. I am sure if some of the reviewers here had simply spoke to the team or picked up the phone, 99% of the problems would be resolved amicably. For what it it worth!

After seeing some reviews I was a bit concerned but they were recommended to me by the LandRover main dealer in Newport who they regularly do work for. They put a Gold Seal engine in my Range Rover Sport and I was vey impressed with the service. Had the job checked by my local garage afterwards and they said it was perfect (and they have used them since I understand). Its very easy to leave bad reviews nowadays but few people leave good reviews as its too much hassle. Thats why I have left this feedback as they did a good job for me and I can therefore recommend their services.

Do not use this lot. Find a reputable company if you are having engine trouble. 

They will give you a big story about how great they are but will eventually do very sub standard work, charging for work not done and doing the very least they can. they had my 6 series and stripped the engine but did not skim the head. They used a silicon sealant along with the head gaskets to seal the engine. Broke various pipes and glued then back together... Yes glued them. That is just part of the story.. Damaged the paint work, dirty oily finger prints all inside the car. 

I had bmw look at it and they were shocked at how bad the workmanship was. be warned, steer clear of national engine centre, engine professionals or epro

My bmw was so poor after they refurbished the engine that I part ex'd it the day after giving these clowns £2.3k to fix it. Took weeks and basically got it to run and washed their hands of it. Avoid please...they must have someone running marketing now as the reviews are so much better. If you decide to use them get what they will and won't do in writing as they are sneaky as..

Fair play to these guys they really turned a situation of hell into heaven for me. Told us exactly what they were going to do to our Zafira, loaned me a mpv to so i could carry on with life with the kids as normal, had fantastic support right from the beginning. Knowledge was second to none, and passion of the job really shone through. Highly recommend. Everything was done the right way with outstanding levels of expertise and the price remained the same as the emailed quote.

My wife found this company in cardiff within minutes of putting a search into the google internet for a recon engine at the beginning of the month. The turnaround time and workmanship has been incredible, I have had my van back now for over a week and it is driving spot on.

I feared I was going to be out of work a lot longer, 100% recommend National Engine Centre to anyone needing a recon engine.

Booked my car in with National Engine Centre, they loaned me a courtesy car and returned mine in full working condition, wouldn't tell me their "secrets" but ive had my car back now for over 5 months and it has not missed a beat.

Gave me their word on the fixed price we discussed before collecting my car and they stuck to it.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. The wealth of knowledge they have is incredible, they told me my own story of how my engine went wrong and it was precise to the Tee !!

Quick turn around and my vehicle is driving A1 again, what a great service they have provided, the two guys I dealt with are second to none and more importantly I trusted them implicitly from the off !
