Great Service From Amersham Audi
The local business development manager at Amersham Audi helped make purchasing a new vehicle, on contract hire, a very easy process.
Definitely recommended & hope to use again in the future.
Audi Q3 Pch
Very pleased with service I have received from Amersham Audi and I took delivery of my Q3 on Friday. All aspects of the contract were clearly explained to me and if I had any queries they were dealt with promptly. Nothing was too much trouble and I will happily recommend this dealership to my friends and colleagues.
Worst Garage I Have Delt With Never Going Back
Right where to start brought a brand new Audi A5 black edition July 2015 car came in around September, me and the wife went to pick up the car no cover over the car to reveal it was just parked outside, salesman was dealing with another customer so just handed me the key and said go take a look at it while looking around the car found one of the alloys damaged, scratches on the driver door kick panels and damage to the paint on the boot, spoiler and off side wing, pointed all these things to the salesman man and he said they will get a new alloy and repair the paint well if I knew what I knew now I should of just left the car and got my money back , so car went in about a month or so later as the wheel was apparently on back order even though I found out they are available from factory, then here comes the paint work they were getting sent fix to sort it well they tried to repair it 4 times and kept making it worse in the end the main head of business got involved now first they said they would put a new boot lid on and spoiler which I was happy with, then when I found out through a little birdy to say that we were not getting a new boot lid but they were planning to take it off one of there sales cars well with that I went a bit mad I then got Audi involved I then received a call saying there not doing the boot lid now as it will cause possible issues but they will send the car to the bodyshop in London which I said okay to but I want the car transported there, which I thought was understandable being a brand new car low mileage and I don't want just anyone driving it, a couple of weeks then went past and I rang them as I hadn't herd anything I then had a very abrupt conversation with the head of business basically saying there not wasting there time and money transporting the car to the bodyshop and when it comes back I say I'm not happy with that also saying why did I get Audi involved as I didn't have to, and giving the car back is not an option so basically telling me what they are doing is ode ring a new car for me and that's that.
Well March then came as now the car was going to be a 16 plate now the way my wife felt and has been made to feel by the dealership she didn't want to pick up the new car with me so I went up on my own, so another new car driven away and some free stuff thrown in to keep me happy well get home wife drives the car and great it's got a knocking noise well the fault was so intermittent there was not point taking it in as they will say we can't get it to do it.
Finally the car was doing the noise all the time when the clutch was on the biting point also found the passenger rear door trim had come loose and so had the quarter panel window, well taken car to Audi Amersham now I said to the service advisor I need to show the fault to the tech as they wont reproduce it unless I show them so a tech came out I showed him the trims and how to get the rattle now I said the car does not need to be driven to get the rattle as proven so I do not want mileage put on the car if it does need to be driven for any reason ring me so car now in there hands,
I then get a phone call later that day from the service advisor saying the master tech has done some adjustments and wants to see if I'm happy with them which I thought was odd because you either cured the fault or haven't
Well go to the dealer my car comes round and it's another tech who has been working on the car he says he adjusted the boot as it was rattling when driving and adjust the exhaust so we sat in the car and I reproduced the noise and let's just say he didn't say anything when I said that's the noise so I then explained I showed the other tech the fault I explained I didn't want the car driven and know he has driven the car for 5 miles for no reason he then said he didn't get told any of that and all the job card said was rattle from exhaust so great communication there then.
Then to the trim one he managed to refit the quarter glass window will need a new trim, well the car was up there for just over a week while they where finding the knocking noise turned out to be the horn bracket knocking against the body then I had a call saying the car is already to be picked up has been cleaned and this is the big thing QUALITY CONTROLLED well I go up there check the noise yup all gone then I look at the window trim now our car is the bright red colour and what do I find a nice big chip done to the metal work and on further checking chips on the off side wing and scratches and chips on the drivers doors also since being in there hands there was a further 13 miles put on the car I was fuming the device manager came out JP explained what's happend you tell me it's been quality controlled and clearly that a lie as who would allow that well he says we will get it sorted by there paint people who come in I then said if it's dent fix don't even waste my time as they mucked up my last car I left the car with them, I then recieved a call later from JP saying that the car is going to the London bodyshop and will be transported there for the work to be done well nearly a month later the car has come back and at last is all okay, but then I drive off with it and great I know have a rattle from the boot which was never there until there tech has adjusted it and also the instrument cluster has grubby dirty finger prints on it and has not been re fitted in correctly as is loose.
Let's just say I'm never going back to this dealer again Audi need to have words with these guys, the care to customers cars, care to customers in my eyes are rubbish I would never recommend this site and even if they were the only dealer near me id rather take my car to a back street garage than use them
And another thing our old car which is on there sales area is still damaged and I'm sure they won't get it repaired for a new owner just in case here's the reg. LR65 XEJ

Be Warned: Service Dept Is A Sales Dept
Unfortunately we have two Audis that are serviced at Amersham. Over a 5 year period the service has been consistently poor. They cant wait to offer you a cappuccino but fail on pretty much every level with anything other than a basic service. Most recent experience was to be told that £2000+ worth of work is needed on the car including brakes being 90% worn. Subsequently took it to an Audi specialist who said the brakes are only 10% worn and that most of other work that Audi tried to sell to me was categorically unnecessary.

Audi S3 Sport Back Purchase
Very surprised with the negative reviews on this site with Audi Amersham. Purchased a new Audi S3 Sport back in August 2015. I cannot find a single fault with the salesman (Dennis) or the companies service. He was honest, up front and gave me the discount I was looking for, which we all know can be a very frustrating process. I had numerous test drives so I could pick the best car suited for me. The car was delivered in October and he could not be more helpful. I wil definitely back in 3 years time. Just one minor fault, Audi say the average mpg for the S3 is around 40. So far I can only get 25 mpg at best even when driving like Miss Daisey!

More Than Happy After A Somewhat Dodgy Start
After booking my A6 in for a Tarnsmission Oil change I had a middle real stop lamp blow out. I phoned the service dept. almost two weeks before due date, they assured me they had plenty of time to order the part and fit at the same time as oil change. Dropped off my car and picked up the courtesy car confident that all would be well.
Got a call at 5pm "we have not had time to fix the stop light and have discovered excessive wear on rear brake discs can we keep your car overnight" to be fair I had realised the rear brakes were soon needing work, but to phone me at 5pm asking if they could keep my car overnight was in my opinion bad customer care.
Needing my vehicle for the next day I was furious. I drove straight over and confronted the service manager. I have to say the way he handled my complaint was exemplary. Although it would be unfair to go into detail, suffice to say he restored my faith completely in Amersham Audi, I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. I have always held the view that the strength of a company is the way it handles complaints. Amersham Audi came up trumps this time.

Avoid And Go To Another Audi Dealer
We bought a new Audi Q7 from this dealer, they were kind enough to help us with the sale and move us from an used car to a new car however the service was pathetic.
Basic checks on the new car were not completed, washer fluid was empty within a month (under 700 miles) and the response from the dealer was you had used it all and we had checked it. When we contacted Audi customer service they arranged us to visit another dealer in Slogh who sorted it out for free.
Again there were multiple issues including 1. We were given the car with 10ltrs of fuel - a new q7 2. we requested roof rails to be fitted to the car, they fitted used broker roof rails on a new car and on the 1st journey home the lock flaps started knocking the roof - had to tape it up for a few weeks before we got it removed and returned to them - response from the dealer we can get you a replacement and no reason why an used item was fitted - refund took 3 months to be sent to my account after chasing through Audi customer care
Audi is a great company, and we are loyal to Audi however such dealers are too loyal towards money and they don't care about their customers.
I was at least able to get some optional items added to the price of the car like smart insurance, if not would have been gutted with the purchase.

Poor Customer Service !!!
I would like to mention that Amersham Audi has the poorest customer service when it comes to dealing with emergency issues. I had contacted them today with regard to book an appointment as there was a warning light about emission control system on my dashboard. What i wanted to know was the technicians to just tell me what it means and how it could be sorted. I was on my way back home from work so was not sure if it was safe to drive the car. I was anyway near to their service centre , so had enquired if i could just pop in for them to have a look. They informed me that they cannot accommodate me even to just visually inspect the car to tell me about the problem .
When i enquired about when to bring the car for service , i was informed that they were fully booked for a week and i need to make an appointment after a week. I depend on my car to commute to work and giving me an appointment after a week means i have to rely on public transport to work.
I am sad to say that i have been let down on this occasion by poor customer service. I do have cars from other manufacturers and I'm sorry to say that customer service is so poor when compared to other providers.

New Audi A1
My recently purchased Audi A1 from Amersham Audi has problems with marks on door cards ever since handover. Impossible to get resolved, even involving Audi UK customer service! Now trying to get my money back as part of the Trading Standards, i.e. a new product should be in new condition and if there is a manufacturing fault I should be re-imbursed. Terrible service towards a new customer from the high profile AUDI brand.
Avoid
I purchased an approved a5 a week ago from this dealer. It lasted 5 days before a major problem with the air inlet manifold - and the advice I was given was "don't worry about it".
My local main audi dealer had a different opinion and the repairs are estimated to be well over £1000 - so I wanted to return the car as it's within 7 days.
Not only has it taken 3 days for someone from the amersham garage to finally reply to my issues - they are stating I have to let them fix it and at present they will not return my money.
Buying from this dealer was the worst mistake I made - and I have had new audi's for the last 8 years - so honestly didn't expect either the issues or the total lack of customer service.
If you want an audi - the cars are usually great - but always avoid this dealership. I am currently having to rent a car, I'm missing £12k and there is no end in sight....................
