My car has now been with Bennetts in Edinburgh for more than a month and I am completely in the dark as to when it might be ready. Bennetts have not called me once with any update. When I call them, I'm simply told there are delays due to the conflict in Ukraine and they don't know when they will have the parts...

My car needs a new windscreen and bonnet after being vandalised but Bennetts haven't even received the windscreen yet. If they had, I could at least drive the car until they're ready to replace the bonnet. Autoglass had said they could replace the windscreen in a day or 2 so I'm thinking I may have to ask Autoglass to visit Bennetts and replace the windscreen on site to show them how it's done.

I'm insured through the RAC but will in future I will choose an insurer that does not use Bennetts.

Bennetts Accident Repair Centre Glasgow you are an absolute joke. 3.5 months waiting to get my car back. Excuse after excuse. Let down after let down. My mot has now ran out so I can't even come collect. Now trying to get mot done within 1 day and again you let me down this morning by not delivering my car by the promised time ffs. Happy to take the 650 excess payment though! I will leave this post on as many websites as possible. Do not recommend you AT ALL!

Bennett’s was used by my insurance company to have my car repaired after another car reversed into me, cracking all my bumper.

The part had to come from Italy which took some time.

Bennett’s kept me well informed calling every few days.

When the part arrived, they came and collected my car, repaired in one day and then returned to me on the same day the repair was completed on.

Car was returned very clean and given a wee wash.

Great repair and customer service from all the team, I was very impressed.

I'll admit I was extremely wary about putting my car here (Uddingston branch) for repairs after seeing some reviews here and elsewhere. However I am delighted with their work. They kept me updated throughout. The repair took slightly longer than anticipated but during the current climate, I'd rather they took their time and did a good job, than a half-hashed one just to get it out the door quicker. They have done an amazing job with my car repairs and I've found them nothing but polite and friendly on the phone.

First told me it would be ready by Wednesday but not ready until the following Monday. Went to pick it up and the headlight was not fitted properly. The grill nest to my fog light was hanging off and the other one was not even there. Washer blank not fitting even tho it was a brand new number. Took it back in the Friday to get all of that stuff sorted. Went to pick it up and half of it still had not been done now just to point out each time they told me it had been quality checked! Load of rubish

The front of my car was re painted and blended back. When dropping it off they were commenting on the polish job done by another garage. Well honestly I have never seen a worse job in my life. It is a metallic black car and it is completely dull. There is a line where they blended it and it is covered in swirl marks. It looks terrible. Absolute joke of a place

My car came back with damage and more scratch's on the paint work plus filler stains on seats they denied it. Take 3 weeks for repairs estimated 8 days for repairs

what can I say ? absolute disgrace of a company..

a 2 day repair to bodywork on vehicle takes 15 days... the yard in bothwell that this disgracefull company have is surrounded by a 5 foot fence that a nursery child could scale--subsequently my vehicle was canabilised by parts getting stolen from it and got a flippent comment from the service manager that whats point in looking at cameras as it was dark !!! NO OFFER OF REPLACEMENT VEHICLE AND THEN HAVE CHEEK TO REPORT ME FOR REQUESTING MY VEHICLE BACK WITH 40 WITNESSES WHO WORK FOR THEM - the managing director.. obv been here before and staff are well warned!!! if you do have misfortune to use them please record audio and visual on your phone.. AVOID THIS FARCICAL COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!

Original estimate was to get the car back in 3 weeks. It is now 7 weeks and counting ... Always seem to find something else and blame others for the delays. Avoid at all costs.

I was told to take my car to bennetts to get repaired after I was in an accident. The car took 8 days to complete and when I got it back the window handle was not at the same height as the opposite side. Also my petrol cap didn't open . Was told it was an electrical fault and NOT THEIRS. Sent an email to the CEO and still waiting on a reply 1 MONTH LATER. Avoid at all costs . It is not worth all the hassle
