Very happy with quick professional service for my tracking. Just called in and they sorted it.

Would recommend, good price, good service

Took the car into the Cardonald brach wih a nail in the tyre. After it was on the ramp the guy asked me to go through and showed me the nail. He tried to explain that the nail was right through and if he tried to remove it!!! Guess what it would pull through the cords in the tyre and scrap it. So new tyre need. When I started to question he was on the defensive straight away, telling me he was a mechanic and I wasnt listening. What made me more suspicious was his manager lurking at the back quietly listening but saying nothing. Anyway when I went to touch the nail he was very quick to stop me touching it. New something was wrong then. Left with the nail still in tyre and took it down to National. Guess what guy looked at it and pulled it out with pliers, wasnt even through tyre. It was a short nail only just beyond depth of the tread. Pity the guy in Kwik fit was a mechanic and not a tyre fitter. Only advice is stay well clear.

Kwik fit Newmarket Suffolk avoid at all costs.Went there on a sunday morning with a slow punture,was in a bit of a rush so was first there .On walking around my car with a clip board I was told my car needed three new tyres at 110 pounds each . I had a new mot from a reputable garage a week before with not a mention of the tyres.I asked could he just repair the punture that i came in for .he refused saying it would not be safe.As I was in a hurry i agreed to one new tyre on the puntured wheel .Later that week I took it back to my local garage to ask about the other two tyres who ,they said it was ridicules to replace these tyres as ther was plenty of tread and in good condition and the one that was replaced was good too if the punture was not near the sidewall which it was not it could have been repaired.Never again dont fall for this rip off .Have heard that ATS do the same try to find a local independant such as Arbury fast fit in Cambridge

Have a lease car and this is the first kwik fit garage that I have been in that I didnt need to wait ages for two tyres changed and spare tyre and goods in boot put back where they were.good work boys

What can I say about KWIK-FIT service? Well, this company is good to make a profit, but they don't act like professionals - the mechanics are just LIARS!!! How else can I name people trying to cheat me? I was told that my car won't pass MOT as the front brakes imbalance is 27%. The recommendation was to replace both front discs and pads (suggested £180 for parts and labour, nobody even offered to inspect or clean them!). I questioned that, as I know that these parts had been replaced recently and I've done less that 5,000 miles since then. So, I put my car to another garage for test and the result was 7% I came back the next day for a re-test and the result was, guess 7% !!! Coincidence? The next day after making complaint, I got a telephone call from a regional manager - but he didn't see the problem... Apparently that's a standard way these b*stards operate. I'll never use them again!!!

My recommendation for you is - avoid KWIK-SH*T like a fire!!!!

They are desperate to find something wrong to sell more products. Retest fee if the car is taken away.I would like to see the mechanics paid more, no bonus and performance managed if they act the goat..At first I was told the cat is maybe away etc, it just needed a rev up for the emissions. Be very careful and offer no slack.
