Replacement type 2 engine supplied and fitted.Van returned leaking oil had to take back three days after collecting.Nobody answers the phone.Van came back with items missing was told that they weren't on vehicle to begin with and they must have fallen off!!!?? Van taken back for the second time as leaking oil told that engine needs to bed in and these leaks will be addressed at 500 mile service.Had it serviced two leaks still on the van which are apparently now the the gearbox.Anyway taking the van back again today as now there are 6 leaks under the van

after our first trip away.Always feel like I'm being fobbed off the engine cost £2300 and I feel that I should have spent this money elsewhere. This is all within nine months.

I ordered a Rebuilt VW T25 Watercooled engine from Volkspares and here is a brief list of the problems that occured -

1-Order lost had to re-order

2-Told engine on way found out it was sent 5 days later

3-Engine delivered with smashed head

4-Rebuilt engine sent to wrong customer

5-New head has blocked waterway drilled it out myself

6-Compression well down told it needs to bed in

7-First service tappets out of adjustment pushrods too short two months? to correct

8-6 months? to return deposit on old engine

9-After 10000 miles compresion still down so is power now have to select lower gear when under load

10-Oil pump housing leaks
