Got A Quote, Then Charged Me Double, Sent Van Back

Got a quote, then charged me double, sent van back twice still not repaired. Nearly had an accident due to this, contacted the person I dealt with he claims work was carried out? Said he would call back to arrange something, have not heard back from him? Mot due next month, if it fails on the work carried out I will be contacting citizens advice bureau. Do your self a favour please don't use these so called mechanics.

More Expensive Than Main Dealer Car Still Broken

Greenflag seem to big up this company as I had to be recovered so they recommend white post garage

They changed the fuel filter which they said would fix the u starting problem at a cost of 190 and he said he was doing me a favour. Got home same problem he said bring it back down

They are just a garage that replace everything until they findo the problem went to honda today and they said the pump and filter needed doing and they only charge 106 quid for filter.  my car had things taken off that I had to put back on at home

Garage Ruined Car

Put my car into Whitepost, because the piston ring had completely broken. after they messed around with it I ended up having to have a replacement engine which they sourced and fitted, the engine was making an awful noise and when questioned they had bought the engine having NOT heard it running, nor did they have or offer me any paperwork for the engine They had the car back to rectify the problem. I got it back but the problem was still there. They then told me it was the normal sound of the engine. Took it to another garage - the mechanic there said it was a faulty engine that Whitepost had fitted. I then got a second mechanic to have a listen who also agreed it was not a good engine. To correct the problem it would either need another engine or a total strip down and rebuild. Having already spent more money on the car than I paid for it in the first place, I sold the car a bought a replacement.

Overall I would NOT trust anyone at Whitepost, not even with a broken shopping trolley, they do not tell the truth but are all too quick to take my money, it also appears that they charge for work on their invoices but the work is not done. In my opinion they are the worst garage in the whole of Gloucestershire.  AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you value you vehicle - go somewhere else.

Forgot To Repaire My Car But Got Charged Anyway

Hi . I went to this garage this yr because I had a rumble noise rear end of my mondeo.anyway I was told I needed 2 rear bushes ASAP .£250 later car still making a noise went to my local garage back in wales they had it up on the ramp and to my amazement was told bushes did not look new and had not been touched phoned white post garage and they assured me bushes had been done ok.mechanic ame out on the Monday and collected car and said I can remember changing 1 but a different mechanic changed the other.. anyway 3 hrs later he brought the car back and said the guy that done my car thought I was only having 1 side changed and was told off even though they had my car for 5 hrs on the first visit and told me labour charge was for over 2 hrs either side they are liars .found out after my rear tyres were the cause of the noise .i would never have known if I had not gone to my local garage .wont be using them again

Avoid Like The Plague

Shame you cant give zero stars to rate this place.

Well hopefully you have read these reviews and decided against taking your car here. Wish I had seen these first!

My car was returned in an awful state, obviously never heard of seat covers or floor mats, and why was the passenger seat and carpets grubby have you all been out for staff lunch in my car.

The courtesy car is a joke. You would need a pair of overalls to sit in it I doubt its ever seen water apart from when it rains. The work carried out by these monkeys is terrible bolts not done up clips left undone the list is endless.

All good reviews can't be true AVOID AVOID AVOID.

You have been warned.

Awful Cowboys. Awaiting My Day In Small Claims Court.

Took my car here ( white post garage ) after being given a competative quote to have a DMF changed as it was starting to make a noise meaning wear and tear. Was given a wreck of a car they call a courtesy car with broken side mirrors, dirty oil covered seats and dodgey brakes so didnt dare drive it. When my car was returned I paid cash and because the young mechanic had brought with him a mobile card payment machine he could not provide a receipt. Several days after having the car returned I drove my car and discovered that there was transmision oil leaking at a fast rate which was pooling on my drive so I called the garage where the owner asked me to take it in so that they could take a look. They had the car on the ramp and said that the drive seal was leaking and this sometimes happens when they are disturbed so rebooked the car in for it to be fixed. After having the car back from the repair I noticed that oil was still leaking on my drive so called the garage once again to have them repair it. This time it was up on the ramps and informed me it was the opposite side and they would order the seal in and rebooked me once again. On returning the car they put the car on the ramps once again and then informed me within 30 seconds of doing so that it wasn't a seal and that it was leaking from the bell housing. ( this is the area they had dismantled to mend the original fault.) My car was suffering an awfull nocking noise after the repair and they looked at it and claim it was coming from a loose water bottle. I had to pay them to put the damage right but informed them i would be claiming it back as It was through their works that the damage occured. They are still yet to give me a reciept for the original repair. Also the owner tried telling me I needed new brakes but thankfully the mechanic called me to one side and said the brakes were like new and they in no way needed replacing. Second courtesy car had a flat tyre, no wheel nut key or wrench to change it. The mechanic that returned my car had to take my car home with him again so that he could bring tools back with him the following morning. I have had no responses from them and having 5 independent garages confirm that the damage was caused by them I have now registered it with the trading standards and small claims court and am awaiting my day.

I Dont Know Where The Other Three Reviews Came Fro

I dont know where the other three reviews came from, probably relatives or staff but I wouldn't let this bunch of cowboys loose on a wheelbarrow after the mess they made of my van. I should have guessed as soon as I saw the "courtesy car", a dirty old Renault Laguna without working locks (which meant I had to unload my gear every night) but with dirty tissues all covered in blood!!!

When I collected my van there parts missing, parts incorrectly fitted and damage to the paint work. A week later when I returned to have some rectification work done the engine and transmission nearly fell out because they had not tightened the engine mountings at all and had left some bolts missing. At one point I had no brakes because they had routed the vacuum pipe incorrectly and it subsequently came adrift!!!!! The reversing lights were on all the time and it felt horrible to drive. All in I paid over £2300 pounds for a rubbish job. I have waited over a month to leave this review because I felt that I needed to calm down, but I am still just as angry about the lack of professionalism shown by this company. They still haven't replaced the missing parts or made an offer to pay for repairs to the paintwork. I have not exaggerated any of these facts and if you want to have a look for yourself then you are welcome.

You should take them to court as I am doing and contact trading standards who are building a file on them. I am guessing the garage owner is thinking I have forgotten or not bothering to keep my word on taking it to small claims but I have registered the case and will be receiving my day and money back soon.
