Awesome And Mean Bike With Top Value For Your Mone

Awesome and Mean bike with top value for your money!

As all other cruisers it takes some customizing to make it right, but that's a part of the fun. Kawis are always well built bikes and the MS is no exception. I've had mine for 2 years and I will keep it for many years more.

I have had my 08 Mean Streak for eight months (still all stock) and have put about 1600 miles on it. This is my fifth motorcycle after an enduro and three sport bikes. You have probably heard about the good reliability with shaft drive and EFI. You probably also know the handling is better than the average cruiser. Some other points that were important for me included a tach (most cruisers didn't come with), pipes that didn't look like a caveman club, lots of chrome, and a good amount of rubber on both tires. I'm 6'2'' and many cruisers I sat on put my knees in my face, but the Mean Streak was more reasonable. The riding position is definitely an adjustment from sport bikes - more hanging on than leaning forward. The biggest adjustment has been the wind. With no fairing or windshield, riding on the highway with a jacket makes you feel like a flying squirrel going into the wind. I like the looks without a windshield, but will probably get a detachable one. The tach shows 3,100 rpm at 70 mph, so a higher fifth gear or maybe even a sixth for the highway would have been nice. Brakes have had minor squeal since day one. Bike has a nice low rumble, but you can still see in your mirrors. I have ridden two-up, but most passengers would prefer a new seat for any distance. Overall, solid bike and definitely one to consider if you are crossing over from sport bikes to cruisers.

2007 Special Edition Model..i Also Own Another Kaw

2007 Special Edition model..I also own another Kawasaki Cruiser, an '04 Drifter 1500. Two totally different types of "Cruisers." Compared to Drifter this is a nimble little athlete, agile and fun to drive. But the Drifter is the real road bike, with much larger feel and is able to cruise at a lower rpm level as compared to the same speed with the Meanie. Fuel consumption is higher with the Streak due to the gearing even though it is the lighter bike. I love this Mean Streak and I love my Drifter. But even though they have similar engines, They are totally different cycles.

For The Price You Cann't Get A Better Bike. I Lo

For the price you cann't get a better bike. I love this bike. It rides smooth, has enough power, and with vance and hanes pipes sounds great. Just enought chrome. Needs to have a sixth gear, and the fuel light comes on way to soon.

I Replaced The Stock Seat With A Wider, Lower, And

I replaced the stock seat with a wider, lower, and more comfortable one. The bike now has Vance & Hines aftermarket pipes. These the sounds of these pipes are just perfect. I am buying new "gifts" for this bike everyday.

My Kawasaki Mean Streak Is A Pleasure To Ride. Wit

My Kawasaki Mean Streak is a pleasure to ride. With a few aftermarket mods this bike really screams and still has the handling and breaking to back up the power. If you love to ride and are not a fan boy of certain manufactures this is a great bike.

The Kawasaki Mean Streak Is Extremely Nice Machine

The Kawasaki Mean Streak is extremely nice machine to ride. This bike puts a smile on my face every time I ride it. Added some mods and extras to it in the form of a screen, custom seat (wider and more padding for passenger) and extra chrome work. Love the shaft drive as I hate adjusting chains and belt drives. Liquid cooling is brilliant for long summer rides.

I Have Been Riding Motorcycles For Over 30 Years A

I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years and this bike is the most comfortable of any of the bikes I have owned. If it had a little more fuel capacity and a slightly higher 5th gear it would be perfect.
