Aprilia SL1000 Falco

Best bike I have ever owned. 150mph sat up. Forget Japanese 4's and overpriced Ducati's test ride a Falco. Its as fast as a Mille RSV and a Tuono but it won't kill your wrists like an RSV and you don't get arm ache trying to hang on as the fairing is superb. Brembo brakes and wheels and Showa upside down forks all for half the price of a Ducati. Fit some carbon cans, put in your ear plugs and get a massive grin every time you ride it.

Aprillia SL1000 is the best kept secret in biking. The Falco is the great 1000cc V-Twin engine of the Mille in a more usable package. It has oodles of character and at least for me is way faster than I will ever need. It never fails to draw compliments where ever I take it. What more can I say, I love this bike and the best part is the price, go and look on Motorcycle News to see what these machines are going for. If you are looking for something different from the jap in line fours, which won't break your wrists and back and has a good turn of speed, forget the overpriced Ducatis look at this baby
