Perfect! Superb! Beautiful!

It is light, powerful, versitile, easy to handle and lots of fun. It took me 3 years to find the perfect bike, having tried a variety. And yes, I'm small, light, female and over fourty, so there! :) Beware though, if you're starting off. This is a seriously powerful bike!! I have had a ZZR 600 last and I was happy except for the weight, it's 22 Kilo more and that makes a huge difference if your'e not equipped with a thigh muscle to hold a ten degree lean. The Gixxer is no comparison. It is made for the thrill, easy to throw into a corner and superbly balanced. A fantastic ride at speed. Country roads are exhilerating (not because of the view of cows), motorway is a thrill and filtering in traffic is easy cause it's so slim. Everything handles smoothly, gears, breaks, balance all become one with you. A seriously brilliant piece of equipment!! OK, I'm in love. :):)

Took Some Getting Used To With Always Having Sit U

I took my clip-ons off and put new bars on a few inches higher - now it is perfect. How can power not be ok in traffic? Actually I'd prefer the torque of a 1000, but the 750 has enough. If you don't need the insane top end power, then I'd suggest you get a nice twin instead.

Bought Bike Bout Two Months Ago , Thought I Bought

bought bike bout two months ago , thought i bought a bad one , as it had a intermitent idle problem that got worse to the point that it wouldnt idle at less than , 3000 rpm , took it to someone that knew what they were doing , turned out it was plugs , but since then its all good!

im 18 stone n gess what! its real nice to ride! no back problems , its nuts above 6000rpm , all the way to 14000, very sweet gear box , its had braided brake lines , so stops on a dime, it drops into corners real nice ,i can throw it about like i know what im doing! my bikes a bit high on the miles n ten years old, but its still very tight , very strong engine, had it dinod, when i got the new plugs , n its still putting out 119 bhp at the wheel , n thats withj a standerd can! k&n filter , but no power comander, so all good , ive done 2000 miles since i got the bike n am getting about 150 miles to the tank, need a new back tyer soon , overall i am very happy with my bike , n for 1700 quid! i think my gsxr 750 y is the best pound for pound second hand road bike i could have bought.

My Bike Was Delivered On Tuesday After A Year Of P

My bike was delivered on Tuesday after a year of public transport. I'm still learning the ropes but this bike it excellent, its forgiving, fast, easy to ride, and has some real torque. Riding around London you can be a little lazy with the gear changes as the bike pull from all gears and picks up and revs quickly if you give it too much gas. You have to make sure you have control of the bike because it has so much power in slow moving traffic you don't want to end up in some ones car boot. You have to be careful with the gas it may jump a little if you don't use the clutch a little to ease in the power.

I have not yet been over 6k rpm on the road, the speed and grunt is something I have to get used to. My last bike was a CBR 125 which could just about handle my 14st weight going uphill, I can get around just using gears 1-3 and be ahead of everything else on the road if I wanted to apart from other bikes. When I'm more comfortable on the bike and take it over 7k rpm that will change, it's got a 14k red line.

The bike is comfortable for me and I'm 6'1, 14st; wrist only ached a little after 1hr ride (2/3 out of 10, 10 being the worst pain ever) but I haven't been on a bike in a while. The paint on the tank seems a little on the thin side but that's only a little scratch, i cant really comment on anything else as I'm only 3 days in. From what i have read about the bike the build quality is good apart from the paint thickness.

I have done about 100 miles and still haven't put petrol in her so I think the MPG is good especially in the London stop start traffic.

I would recommend this bike to anyone, just be careful. It has a lot of power and it comes quickly, before you have blinked you will be the wrong side of the speed limit. I came round a corner and gave it a little gas, didn't pass 6k rpm; looked at the speed 57.

Brakes are good as well you get good feedback from the whole bike.

If you have one enjoy, if you want one, try it, you will buy it.

I Have Just Bought A Suzuki Gsxr 750 K3 As A Track

I have just bought a Suzuki Gsxr 750 k3 as a track bike and what a fantastic bike to ride, keeps up with the ltr beaters and twists like the 600 perfect bike for perfect fun. Tip dont down shift at 90mph when red lining back end dont like it. What i dont like about it umm nothing. Had a k6 as a road bike for 2 yrs also great fun now ride a R1 as road bike, thats so i can be lazy no gear shifting just a big automatic. The main reason for buying the gixer was not to send my R1 down the track in reality its much more fun.
