I Love It. Wish I Was Allowed To Keep It In My Sit

I love it. Wish I was allowed to keep it in my sitting room. Easy to ride, (new rider), quick as I need it to be, stunning looks, not many about so its a head turner.

As My Second "real Bike" And First "really Fast Bi

As my second "Real bike" and first "Really fast bike" the Speed Four is bonkers!

The handeling is just completley mental (of course the frame is taken straight from the TT600) you can throw it round corners at 70mph and not even worry about whats going on.

Super easy to pop a wheelie, and it's a real head turner, especially with the sweet sweet noise it makes, every single day I get on my Triumph to go to work I have a big silly grin on my face everytime I head that exhaust. - It's just fantastic! With a stock can!

Now for the bad news.... (which isn't really bad at all) while pottering about in town the eager fule injection system just wants to run away and pull your arms off, while the clutch is really quite heavy - making for a slightly unpredictable biting point, if you rev it too much then its wheelie time.

This is easily the best naked 600 in it's class, wiping the floor with the Fazer, and just humiliating the Bandits and Hornets.

This bike will make you happy, if your having a mid life crisis, this bike will solve that, if your marrige is on the rocks this bike will solve that, if you have cancer im pretty god damn sure this bike will cure that as well.

Take one for a test drive... but be warned.. you will buy it.

The Triumph Speed Four Is A Superb Handling Bike W

The Triumph Speed Four is a superb handling bike with a fabulous exhaust note even at low revs. Fantastic in black with belly pan and all the kit on.

Mine was extremely snatchy under 4K revs and is still a dog in town despite having a remap. This effectively neutered the bike and made it much less of an animal. (Before it was like a two stroke on heat).

The handling and suspension are second to none.

If you haven't had the spark plug seals done then get them sorted as the early designs lead to corrosion.

Once on twisty B roads it comes into it's own but you'll probably end up riding round just listening to the exhuast. Triumph engineers spent a lot of time getting that just right..

I love the bike. Fully adjustable suspension, fantastic build quality and incomparable handling. Ditch the crappy BT14s and get a Pirelli Diablos. They will transform the machine. I get stopped everywhere I go by people keen to learn more or admire this fantastic bike.

The Street Triple looks like a hot seller but it isn't built to the spec this is. Buy one.

I have the Triumph Speed 4 and a Ducati. I spent a lot more on my new Ducati and love it, yet I find getting more compliments when I ride on the looks of my Triumph Speed 4.

The Triumph Speed Four Looks Cool, You Don't See A

The Triumph Speed Four looks cool, you don't see as many of them about so you've got something a little different. It's british.

I Part-ex'd My Faired Horent For This 2004 Model A

I part-ex'd my faired Horent for this 2004 model and what a change! The Triumph Speed Four feels more confident and has a far superior power delivery with no lurching and easy riding in the town or on the open road - the Hornet feels cheap in comparison.

The riding position is a lot more committed as you should be with a sports bike and if you have any back problems they could be exposed on the triumph however the position also inspires confidence when cornering and breaking. On the subject of breaks they are superb with lots of feedback and plenty of power.

The bike stands tall and at 5.8 I am on tip toes when stopped, in contrast the pegs are quite high up so it's quite a long way between ground and peg... great for leaning over.

Flicking the bike from one side to the other is when you see the real class of this bike and open country roads is where the Triumph belongs.

I wouldn't recommend this bike for the newbies as it needs to be used with confidence, the turning circle is big and the breaks are almost too good.

My only criticism would be the lack of protection but this is classed as a street-fighter so you know what your going to get when you lay your money down.

You can buy a screen from Sedcam or there is a better looking one from a company in America called Laminar Lip. They will post to the UK with the cost for the screen and postage being $100 (around £55) a bargain.

If you are not sure if this is the bike for you then I will tell you the best bit... it is mega cheap! The quality is great, the handling superb and the engine is sweet as a nut. I paid £3000 for a 2004 minter with 3700 miles you can't get better for that kind of money.

Go test ride one and see for yourself.

This Triumph Speed Four Is Solid. Being 18 Stone I

This Triumph Speed Four is solid. Being 18 stone it still feels chunky and tank like! Having previously had a 600 Bandit, it now instantly feels like a 'proper bike'. The sound from the engine is lovely, not a million miles away from a triple sound, which can't be bad?

Although the tyres aren't properly scrubbed in yet, the feedback from riding is superb, it goes round bends and roundabouts with no effort at all. Can't say what the top end is like as still running it in, but I know it's gonna be just fine. Am only 'allowed' up to 75 mph on 5k revs at the minute, but the windblast is minimal, unless I'm just used to it being over 6ft? Anyway, surely it's more fun and involving without any proper fairing.....

The best part about the bike is the price you can get it for, limited of course due to numbers being snapped up quickly.

Mine is the yellow model, and you certainly are well spotted on it.

All in all I'm very, very pleased with it so far.
