Looking For A Cheaper Replacement Bike For A Fazer
looking for a cheaper replacement bike for a Fazer FZ1 and this came up on ebay with trident underseat pipes, single sided swingarm but high mileage.I've got to say it's absolutely brilliant. Better than a twin or a four. Superb engine, great gearbox and v.good handling now the fork oil's been changed.Suprises lots of big sports bikes and it sounds unbelievable with the trident pipes. now done 66000m and I will be keeping it for ever !!

I Have Owned Mine For Three Years And Never Tire O
I have owned mine for three years and never tire of its great performance. I have used it for courier work for one winter and had a blast around London.
I smile constantly when riding. My partner tell me she fell in love with the bike before me!!!!
Fantastic through the twisty stuff, and can be ridden all day rain or shine.
10 out of 10!!

Now has 130,000km. Still in pristine condition and totally reliable. Has travelled all of NZ in all weathers and never missed a beat. Shims checked every 20k, Motul oil change every 5k. Extra's include Triumph carbon pipe,Pipercross air filter, TuneBoy tuned, carbon heel guard, 675 black anodised front brake reserviour. Sold the RS at 40k, bought it back at 86k as a write off. Made a few changes after the crash that have improved handling changed the look minorly. Fittede single side swingarm (from 04ST), T595 front yokes & forks, fairing is a cut down T595 fibreglass item. Running on Pirelli Rosso's has proven a good choice:)

I Bought This Bike New May 2006, Been To France An
I bought this bike new May 2006, been to France and Spain two up. Comfortable for long distance touring, yet nibble enough for scratching at the week-ends. (solo). The RS can also carry plenty of luggage, I have a 52lt Top Box, and a 28 Lt tank bag, handles great 2 up plus all the luggage. I have been told that the RS could be a collectors bike in years to come as not a great deal of them were made. So if you have a good one as I have, hang on to it.I also have a scooter which I use in the week for short trips to keep the mileage down on the RS. I have also been fortunate enough to still have dry miles on the bike which is a bonus. There is also plenty of goodies to add and still readily available. My carbon fibre race can has pumped the bhp up by 5. a hugger, fender extender, rear cowl cover, double bubble screen etc are just a few things you may want to add to your bike. All in all I am very happy with the RS, and I cant see any-thing out there at the moment worth changing for.

The Triumph Spirit Rs Is An Aggressive Sports Tour
The Triumph Spirit RS is an aggressive sports tourer that rips. Always wanted a VFR and ended up with a Sprint RS with no regrets. Have no interests in a VFR anymore cause this bike destroys it. VFR's are only 800cc and the RS is 955 which makes it better for two up touring or even solo twistys. The wind protection is adequate for a half fairing machine. Buddies on sports bikes are stretching and squerming long before I feel uncomfortable. Great bike for you and that special someone to ride long hours into the sunset. Even greater if that special someone stays at home then you can really whip it into the turns bachelor style. Great bike.
