The X-Treme X-500 is the best electrik scooter probebly

I purchased online under scratch & dent so the price was $199 with shipping. it took almost a month to receive because it was shipped through DHL and somehow it went to Nevada and ended up in Baltimore before it finally reached my destination California.

It is heavy the first time you receive the item in its box but the setup is simple (fold up to attach handle bars, insert fuse in fuse holder and connect charger to outlet) after that the key note was that the charger indicator should show two red lights that its charging and/or red green that charge is complete so it showed red/green but the problem was the battery was bad and that is where the hex bolts and nuts that used to remove the deck plate is not standard and after a day of trying to take them off and disconnected the battery it took another two weeks before I install the battery and this time it worked great.

The next thing are the fuses that came with the scooter are 3/4x3/16 20amp and they were lasting for about 1 day to 1 week before they blew out.

There was no signs that the anything was causing a short, so my next result was to change fuse type to still 20amp but different size and see if that works, but I'm wait for fuse holder to try that out and hopefully I'm all ok.

During my time that it did run it was lots of fun, I manage to go 20 miles on a single charge, 10 miles on up and down hills, and a whole day of just stopping and going at the park.

I have included accessories for when its get dark at night front light and rear lights that go on bikes fit perfectly and added yellow side markers that you see on trucks so now I'm more safely to be seen at night.

I'm waiting to see now if I can change my battery to lithium that weigh less and last longer than the ones provided I just need to find the battery store that can assist me in that matter.

I did get a flat and that was an experience since I don't have a scooter shop near where I live, but I substittued to a lawn mower shop that happen to carry the same tirre and tubes and its works perfectly as well.

Very heavy to move around.

Received a scooter that ran for one charge and would never recharge. After 2 months and more than 20 correspondence, I was sent part that did not fit. The warranty was then over. I offered to pay shipping to have them fix it but they never sent an authorization to return. Ended up trashing this $300 scooter after a year.

The X-Treme X-500 has good speed and it's a strong unbreakable scooter very fun and well worth the money and lots of fun. My wheels got worn from skidding.

X-Treme X-500 has good power and basic design, but bad quality control. I did a bunch of upgrades including the seat and a suspension seat post to make it more comfortable. I now do not recommend ANY scooter without suspension for any distance riding, as small wheels make the ride very bumpy. I am going to try an upgrade to some front shocks.
