Benelli Pepe 50

This bike is pretty from a design point of view and light enough for my daughter to lug about. The seat is comfy and the ergonomics by and largely good. Reliability is the problem, after a matter of weeks I have to get rid of this bike as it spends more time off the road than on. With the key electric components so low, one big puddle and it’s a paperweight, I cant see how it will manage the winter in North Yorkshire. A lot of bike shops don’t want to deal with this make because spare parts take an age to arrive. The Carb is a sod to get to, even the spark plug is awkward to access. With less than 4,000 on it I has to go!

I absolutely love my Benelli Pepe LX. I bought an LX model which is slightly taller around the handle bar area, even though I loved the look of the 'old style' better. These bikes suit really long legged and tall riders.

I like the lightweight aspect and larger safer wheels. It has plenty of punch and can easily reach 60kmh...70 if pushed.

Just buy one!

I've had the pepe for about 3 months and love it.

The only problem I've had with it is the wait to warm the engine up when it's cold out - but it's been getting better and better.

I love this bike I had one and got knocked off breaking my arm. I absolutly adored the bike and even though it was from 2001 it was in mint comditon and had done very few miles. It was a great bike that was zippy and smooth. I am going to get a brand new 08 pepe with the money I get as it was the best bike or me.

I've got a Benelli Pepe and it is a good scooter. Main thing it is fast as lightning!
