Honda Lead Nhx110 . Great Bike But Beware Of Givi Screens
Great bike.
I previously owned a Suzuki 400 Burgman and did find The Honda a bit slow at first but appreciate it's lightness and fuel economy. It is actually good fun to ride.
Very easy to ride and handles well. Can get a load of stuff in and on it.
I have used it for short local trips, regular 40 mile round trips to visit family and so far, one 400 mile round trip.
Top speed is about 52-53mph until the rev limiter cuts in (a somewhat odd sensation) and so far, over 1000 miles, have averaged 105 mpg. Pretty good considering half of that has been flat out at 50mph.
One warning though. Never buy a Givi screen. I bought one for winter riding and they mis-supplied right hand thread bolts to fix the screen bracket to the Honda mounts. Three weeks on I am still waiting.
In fact the initial response was that it must be a "fault on my particular bike". Really ! Honda accidentally threaded it back to front? I did check with my dealer and all Hondas use left hand thread fixing so basically Givi are just incompetant.
If Givi are that useless who knows if the stuff they sell is safe? Toyota initially denied a fault with their cars but after several people were killed in America, they had to recall millions of cars. I no longer trust Givi. Better to buy a Puig (German made and TUV approved) or a genuine Honda.

I Have A New 2010 Elite 110 Which Is Just A Re Bad
I have a new 2010 Elite 110 which is just a re badged for America Lead 110. Except for the placement of the turn signals it is an identical bike.
This has been the perfect scooter. The 108cc fuel injected engine has more power than you would think and it comes on in a hurry, even while carrying a passenger. The seat is very comfortable, the ride is smooth and stopping is one of the best I've experienced due to Honda's combined braking system. The storage is also better than most. I can fit a full face & a 3/4 face under the seat and there is a glovebox for smaller items etc.
Add 100mpg and I can't find any flaws to this scooter. For under 3,000 you get Honda quality and a superb bike.

I Had A Brand New Peugeot V-clic For 5 Months And
I had a brand new peugeot v-clic for 5 months and it didn't work well for me so I traded it in for this bike the Honda Lead 110.The Honda lead is a fantastic bike which has been very reliable in the time I have had it. Just wish I got it before the Peugeot. My mirror keeps swinging loose, but will take the bike back and I am sure Honda will sort this out straight away! A great bike and will be using it for years to come.
