Great Value -great Bike

I recently bought this scooter after moving to Florida. A woman was upgrading to a Burgmann 400 cc and priced her Kymco with 9000 miles for $600.00. I couldn't get over to her home fast enough!! It had some very very small cosmetic scratches but for that price. The great part of this deal was that my neighbor works at the Suzuki shop that she had it serviced at. He gave me all her service records including the new tires she had just put on prior to selling it!!! For a 250cc I'm more than satisfied with the power, gas mileage, and comfort.

Bought An Orange 2007 Xciting 250

i boutht a 2007 Orange Xciting 250 with 7500 miles. I rebuilt the carb and changed the fluids and new spark plug. Now she runs like a top. I have had her for about a month and 1000 miles later it is a love connection. I am getting between 62-75 mpg. I have a ton of space under the seat and a 42l Givi monolock so she can shop. I have added fuel about 9 time and changed the oil once watched a how to on you tube. The 250 is a little under powered for 2 up highway travel but for in town hops it is the bomb. I can't wait to ride tomorrow.

I Had A 2006 Xciting 250 For A Couple Of Years, A

I had a 2006 Xciting 250 for a couple of years, and it was a reliable, decent bike, BUT there are things about it that really let it down.

The power is just adequate, although lacking at high speeds. It's a heavy bike, and with 2 people on it, the performance lacks. One big gripe I have with it is the space under the seat: the body of the bike is really bloated, but there's barely enough space for a full sized helmet. Also, the seat is hard and not suited to long trips. Why they opted for twin discs on the front I don't know either, as you sure don't need them given how little power it has.

All that said, the price isn't bad, but frankly if you only have that much to spend, you should by a second hand Majesty YP250, it's an infinitely better ride.

I Have A Kymco Xciting 250 For More Than A Year An

I have a Kymco Xciting 250 for more than a year and overall like the ride, confort, style and endurance. Only two thinks I concern are more power and the high price dealers charge for service here in Los Angeles, not for parts but for labor, I compare and they charge more than Harley dealers. For the lack of power I saw the MRP kit to 300 cc and when money allowed may be the solution, but for labor I have big concern, I had tried diferent dealers and not resolve the case. Because of it I can't give a ten to my scooter.

Went On A Fun Ride With Some Friends From The Offi

Went on a fun ride with some friends from the office through the back roads of middle Tennessee. I was able to keep up with the pack. I was the only "scooter" in the crowd. We had one Harley, an Iron Horse custom chopper, two Suzuki Ninja's, a large Honda and a Honda Rebel 250. I bought the Xciting 250 as a commuter but am having a great time riding almost everywhere.

I Got My Kymco Xciting 250 For A Bargain And Knew

I got my Kymco Xciting 250 for a bargain and knew what to expect since I also own a X500. The X250 is my commuter and it's not let me down yet. In less than two months we have almost three thousand miles and going strong. Great job Kymco.

Rides more like a sports bike than a scooter but hey it's fun!

Let Me Describe Myself First - I Started Riding Bi

Let me describe myself first - I started riding bikes in 1955 (world war 2 harley that that my uncle owned and let me ride the year was 1954 - through the years I have owned an Ariel 4 square--Triumph tiger 110 --a BSA Golden Flash and a Honda 700 intercepter.

I bought a Kymco Xciting 250 in Feb 11 2007. I gotta tell you that is one amazing bike. It is surprisingly fast for a 250cc and rides like a dream. I bought it fro the scooter shop in Orange County, California. The guys out there were great, very friendly and helpfully. I am also getting approx 63 mpg, and I now have 875 miles on it now - wont be broke in till 1000 miles.

I Bought My Kymco Xciting250 On Ebay For A Extreme

I bought my Kymco Xciting250 on Ebay for a extremely low cost - I could not believe the other biders quit bidding - I picked up the bike at the scooter shop in Orange, California - they were very nice to me - I haven't been on two wheels in 21 years - the salesman asked if I would like to have it delivered but I told him I bought it to ride - I climbed on and rode the 25 miles home with my son in his truck in front of me - I was seared to death for the first 10 miles - the I started to relax - and found the bike had a lot of power and a excellent ride - firm but good - I had thought I needed at least 400 cc of power, but this little 250cc does just fine - I only have 80 miles on it now and I will do this again when I get to 1000 miles - don't be scared to buy Kymco, they're great.
