2300 Trouble Free Miles

2008 Lance Milan 150. 350 recreational miles per year. Always get compliments, trouble free and get 72 mpg. Only issue is the speedometer. The face is showing signs of rust. Always stored in a garage. I have been on line trying to find a replacement, but zero success. Anyone out there with a similar problem? i live at beach where salt air is a problem.

I Bought My Lance Interceptor Online From Someone

I bought my Lance interceptor online from someone on craigslist. I spent $700 on it and it was only 1 year old with 2600 miles. The only bad thing that I can say about it is that if I ride it a lot in one day the motor tries to die on me if I don't leave the gas on while stopped and sometimes it takes a while to start and motoworld will not work on it because they say "its a cheap chinese scooter and you cant find parts for it" I love it tho! I know it needs some service to it and that is hard to find but we have been running it ragid at least 50 miles a day 3x a week if not 5x a week and it still runs good, it will get you to and from that's for sure! I would not pay full price for it though. We have owned it for 5 months and I would say that it has paid for itself in gas ($700) as much as we ride it. I love my scooter!

I Had An Electrical Issue. My Rectifier Went Bad

I had an electrical issue. My rectifier went bad and overcharged the battery. Lance at first said it was covered by warranty and would send me a new rectifier. Then they changed their minds with out telling me and made me pay for the part $30. Mine was shipped directly to me, so maybe a dealer could have helped in this case. If I was to do it again, I'd hold out for a Yamaha Zuma 125 or a Kymco Super 8 150. The Lance 150 GS-R 150cc will do though.

I Bought This From A Dealer Ad Must Say That Is Th

I bought this from a dealer ad must say that is the ONLY way to go. My dealer prepared the scooter properly and spent several hours checking nuts and bolts plus setting up the carb. People here who are leaving bad reports I bet bought theirs online and had a crate dropped off. DO NOT DO THIS unless you are a skilled mechanic. Because of the problems people have, Lance no longer allows companies to sell online; you can olny buy them from a dealer.

I Bought Mine From Zen Auto Sales In Sacramento, T

I bought mine from Zen Auto sales in Sacramento, they are very helpful there. Good for answering questions and they have a mechanic who works on scooters primarily. Unfortunately, I live a couple hours away so I can't go there for every little problem, I'm looking for some help and answers a little more close to TURLOCK, CA. Anyone know where I can find someone to help with questions and answers?

This was my review of my Lance 150 cc gsr scooter at 1K miles. I now have about 2,300 miles on it and I've come into some major problems. It started dying on me at stop signs. It got worse and soon I couldn't start it up at all. I took it to OxRod's in Turlock where they told me compression is low about 60 when it should be 100. Busted head gasket or piston ring might be the reason for all the leaking oil, running poorly and not starting; at this point that's what I'm hoping for. If it's anything worse, I'm going to be hesitant to put any money into it. It was an economical decision to buy this thing in the first place... do I cut my losses? Any experience out there?

I Do Not Recommend This Bike Unless You Want To Sp

I do not recommend this bike unless you want to spend $2000 on junk. If you want a cool looking bike that you must kick start ok buy it oh yes I remember now I only get 20 mpg! 150 cc and only 20 mpg! Certainly less than 40 mpg. I rode it 10 miles and put in 1/2 gallon gas. That is 20 mpg.

Speedy. I Weigh 170 And Can Get It To 60 A Little

Speedy. I weigh 170 and can get it to 60 a little over if downhill. Cuise very well at 55 with about a quarter turn left on the throttle. The brakes are excellent. Can cruise at 55 with a passenger, but at full throttle. Great pickup to 35 after that it's a bit slower. Very bright headlamps and break light. Mirrors have little lights on them too. Breaks work wonderfully. Doens't sound whinney and high pitched like some scooters.

Overall a great bike I'm glad I bought. I paid $2000 to get it from a dealer, but it's very well worth the extra money. Easy to lube the gears and change the oil. Going at high speeds speeds it does not feel like it's going to fall apart as some claim. Unless it was not put together well. But well built this bike will give you many great rides.

I've Had My Lance Gsr 150 Mpoed For A Year And A M

I've had my Lance GSR 150 mpoed for a year and a month now. It lasted about 8 months and it went to pot. The trunk busted all up because it's made out of plastic and couldn't take daily commuting. The muffler isn't secured very well and the bolts will come loose and drop off, causing the gasket to fall out. The headlight housing overheated and the wiring melted, causing the whole bike to shut down. The snaps that hold the bulbs in the headlight housing broke and the plastic guides that hold the headlight housing into the hood also broke. They were all cheap, flimys plastic pieces that are poorly made. Buy Japanese. The Lance GSR 150 is not good and I feel like I've wasted $1,400 on it when I bought it and another $600 keeping it running. Take it from me, don't buy it. It wears out and tears up pretty quick. I have 2,412 miles on mine.

When I Was Looking For A Scooter The Dealer Told M

When I was looking for a scooter the dealer told me they were selling another brand of scooter and was having problems so they changed to selling Lance because they told them they would stand behind their product, that was the reason I purched the Lance brand. The dealership I purched it from has be helping but everytime I call they tell me maybe tommorrow it will be back. Next step is to try to call Lance. Will keep you posted, on any updates.
