Altough It Is A Great Scooter When It Works, Most
Altough it is a GREAT scooter when it works, most of the time it didn't work. The motor failed 3 three 3 times, and I have to get a new piston, rings, etc. at great expense.
Except for that "little" problem, which mechanics never knew what caused it, the scooter is great. Very quick, small enough for lane splitting, great gas mileage, very good build quality.
I don't know if I got a "lemon", but to rebuild the motor 3 three 3 times it's TOO much. I sold it for less than a third of what it costed me, and bought a Burgman AN650. It is TOO big, but at least works w/o problems.

I Got A 50cc Two Months Ago, Just Done A Tour Of T
I got a 50cc two months ago, just done a tour of the southwest of France [had a good time] did 2,000 klicks with not one prob. The bike was carrying me (85k) plus 20k of things I needed to cook, sleep and cloths. I think the bike would have done 60 to 65 K,s an hour all day long but my back would not.

I Had A Peugeot Vivacity 100 For Two And A Half Ye
I had a Peugeot Vivacity 100 for two and a half years and overall was very pleased with it. Having the 100cc engine it was quite quick off the mark and was able to do 60 -65 mph. It is physically a small scooter so taking a passenger was not very comfortable, but with just the rider it was fine. I did some longer runs on the bike and it was able to cruise at 50 mph with no problem. Being a two stroke, it was a bit smokey when you pulled away from cold but this soon cleared as the engine warmed up. Parts are easy to get hold of and it's easy to keep the machine on the road with a tight budget. As is common with a lot of machines of this class, the fuel tank, situated under the seat, is small. The mild steal exhaust system rusts and needs to be painted once a year.
So if you are after cheap transport, that's reasonably quick and compact this could be the machine for you.
The Peugeot Vivacity 100 Is A Good Bike, Fast For
The Peugeot Vivacity 100 is a good bike, fast for just a 100 but could be faster all round. Good bike I say.

I Love My 50cc Peugot Vivacity 2 {2005}, Once It W
I love my 50cc Peugot Vivacity 2 {2005}, once it was derestricted and I beefed up rear suspension and added a new exhaust (total cost = 150Euros) I have a scooter that rivals others with price tags well over 1,000Euros above mine, with the added advantage that it's low key. It doesn't ask thieves or cops for attention, yet when I need it the power's there. Great little run about.

I First Bought My Peugeot Vivacity Scooter A Year
I first bought my Peugeot Vivacity Scooter a year ago now and I have been really impressed with it. Haven't had a single problem with it, except that it doesn't like cold mornings. I chose the Vivacity over other 'sportier' models as it is neater and more refined than say the Speedfight or the Gilera Runner. Still looks snazzy with a sharp front end and two tone paintwork without being plastered in stickers. It's quick off the line and I have had much fun leaving sports scooters behind at the lights as they don't realise my bike is 100cc. Comfortably sits at 60 mph without putting much pressure on the engine or vibration and I have had it at 67mph on dual carriageways. All round an excellent scooter with good build quality and sharp looks. Reccommended.

The Minute Your Warrenty Is Up The Peugeot Vivacit
The minute your warrenty is up the Peugeot Vivacity 100 will fall to pieces.. My gear box fell apart, forks leaking, pistons taping ...AVOID
Also do not be fooled that a scooter is cheap!
It is extremely expensive to repair. My Peugeot Vivacity has spent more time in the garage being repaired than running
What is this lemon I keep hearing about?
I disagree with this review because while owning a second hand Vivacity 100, have had no problems with it. I'm not a small person and it happily does 45-50mph with my weight and hasn't fell to pieces just yet :-)
You just got a lemon... what's the build year of your scoot?
Q&A
I have a Vivacity 100cc it starts but when I full rev it, it just splutters. Can someone help me please? I have been told its stator plate but don't know.
