Solid Bike Comfy And Well Reccomended

Its a tough little bike bought mine on 12000 miles 05 model. been dropped, had a crash and been abused in the past, it spends a lot of time in the rain outside the gym too . the engine ran boggy which I've heard said a few times but noticed it was over jetted so put an air filter on and it accelerated faster than the ybr I did my CBT on. Never one starting issue only wear and tear that affects every bike (tyres, chain/sprockets, battery). definitely more bottom friendly too I'm 6'0 and I fit perfect into the bike all the parts are easy to get and seriously easy to fit I will only say that top speed of 55-60 is a bit of a let down but handles really well and is a joy to ride especially on my 50 mile visits home from uni and I got mine at £550 which is pretty average for the en and money I would call very well spent Japanese quality Chinese price :)

The Bike Overall Is An Outstanding Bike When C

The bike overall is an outstanding bike when compared to other motor scooters, although the underseat storage is very tiny it has room on the grab rail at the back of the bike to fit a top box.

I have had my suzuki sixteen for 4 months now and have done over 770 miles on it reaching speeds of around 65-70MPH which is very good for a roads if they exist in any of your commutes. The bike is powerful enough to get the rider out of any trouble on the road and can also make easy and smooth pull offs from roundabouts etc.

As i have allready stated that the underseat storage is too small for the size of the bike but also i feel the design on the front of the bike where the radiator is could be better, i had a small spill on my bike a month ago and caused very costly but that is purly down to the bike being a new model but apart from that an great success on suzuki's part and a great buy to anyone who is lucky enough to own one.

I Have To Quantify The Statements Below By Saying

I have to quantify the statements below by saying I'm not a small man, 17st plus and 6 feet 4 but whilst the Suzuki Sixteen 125 bike is stylish, it doesn't live up to what the salesman told me. My commute is 30 miles each way and I go at either full speed or stop!! I get about 90 miles out of every tank & no more. The under seat storage will hold a miniature helmet at best. I do like the bike but I'd prefer not to have to fill it up every second day. I got it after my Piaggio X9 died and it's really good realiabilty wise in comparison. It even started after being dug out from under 50cm's of snow!!!

what is the top speed of this scooter. i was thinking of buying this one before i got a honda dylan. from what i heard, the honda dylan is way mroe reliable than the suzuki sixteen and goes faster. so far i have heard that the suzuki sixteen 125 goes a total of 50mph at top speed where as the honda dylan goes 65/70 for me. which do you think is better for reliability out of suzuki and honda coz i was thinking of getting a suzuki burgman next. any experience?

Hi. Fuel capacity is 8.5L. I calculate I can get over 150miles to a tank (85mpg+). My riding is mainly up to 50mph and urban. I'm also only 11st in kit and shorter than you!Deputyd

My Daily Commute Has Changed From 45 Miles Of A Ro

My daily commute has changed from 45 miles of A road/motorway to 14 miles of B roads and town traffic. I swapped my old Honda VFR800 for this new Suzuki Sixteen 125! I wanted a large wheeled scooter due to the cobbles and awful roads I now go over, and my previous experience of smaller wheeled scooters (used to have a Gilera Runner and Italjet Formula 125's many years ago).I've only done 120 miles on it so far but already it's perfect for what I want. Powerful enough to nip along busy A-roads and small enough to squeeze to the front of every traffic queue. My only power complaint is that on my motorway test run I found myself sticking with the slower, lane 1, traffic and not really getting in the middle lane. Maybe when it's run in it will improve a bit.But for everything except motorways I recommend it.
