Sym Symphony 125

When comes to motorcycle you pay for what you get, you pay cheap and you end up with a regret.

It's 4 years I have it and a few problems, the plastic trims it's very poor,cannot even fit larger tyres because of the rear frame,I tried to fit larger piston upgrading from 125 to 160 but the head finally would not take it and valves bent , unfortunately no headvalve it's available to upgrade this sym Symphony 125 cc.many do sale cylinder and piston 160cc 180 cc but no head valve ,therefore you will be waisting your money and time.the best I can do is to finally get rid of this bike,very poorly build.

Had 3 of these now never had a moments trouble travelled miles into mountains in middle of nowhere in Romania Italy Spain Switzerland find it great fun with excellent handling engines one of the best in the market bought my first one because of price but now I really trust these ,under seat storage along with shopping bag holder for floor makes ideal for trips to shop maintenance is simple brakes could be sharper but ok for a 125 engine eager to pull well even with 2 full size adults onboard will cruise comfortable economically at 55 mph after that it’s trying a bit but will do indicated 65mph switches all feel top quality mirrors good visability

Just had it over a week and love it. Its so quiet and smooth, real pleasure to drive. very please with the purchase.

I OWN ONE OF THESE BIKES AND I GOT TO SAY ITS ONE IF THE MOST RELIABLE BIKES I EVE HAD I GOT A 2015 THAT DID 14.2K MILES ON ITS FIRST PISTON THE BELT HASN'T GONE OR ANYTHING MAJOR JUST CHANGED PISTON ONCE THAT'S IT!!! Only thing is if you live in UK and need a cylinder for this bike good luck finding one their nickel plated not no cheap gy6 overall Amazing bike

bought this scooter knowing sym are a good under dog type brand but to my surprise its the brand other brands should follow , when I ride it gives the impression its a real form of usable quality transport I was so confident of the quality sound and feel of it I have taken on motorway where it performed excellent keeping up with inside lane traffic at about 55mph constantly which doesn't sound that fast but ive had lots of motorbikes and scooters I feel this is one of the best performing 125 fourstoke scooters ive ridden cant recommend enough I also bmw 1200 motorcycle which im no where near as impressed with

Well this is my first scooter and i love it, I picked it before doing my CBT. Being 40 I didn't want somethign too pimped up or too small. I'm 5ft11 and feel ok on the scooter. When stationary on the road my left foot can touch the floor quite easily, while my leg remains straight. So the seat is at a reasonable height. It is really econimical with the petrol £5.00 fills it up, usually lasts me around 100km. Ride feels good. Easily keeps up with the traffic. DEspite what i will write below i do think it is a bargain

Negatives,I have a large helmet, which cannot fit in the underseat storage. So my chain stays there. I would have though a built in immobiliser for the ignition and steering lock was standard these days, afraid not in this case. Therefore a chain is esential. Also it needs to be serviced every 3000km or 3 months if you want the wararanty to be valid. But these minor things should detract from the value for money and fun this scooter brings.
