Be Careful

Rather than do something once you've been tricked which is very little apart from blocking their advert, why don't you ask them for more proof of identification when they place their ad which you tend to do when someone reports ad but afterwards which is pointless. I have reported quite a few ads which were pretty obvious which you didn't even notice

Sells Sick Animals On This Site

Be careful buying from this site. I've reported sick puppies and the mother dog who I believed to be from a puppy farm . they did nothing, didn't even email me back, said they would make enquiries and then asked me how did they do? breeder is still up. Mother dog was clearly distressed around breeder and was skinny and sick looking as were the puppies.

Pets4homes wanted photographic evidence or vet report. I didn't buy dog I know what a sick puppy looks like after having 4 dogs, one of whom came from a puppy farm back in the 90's and who was dead within 6 months of my buying him so I know what to look out for when it comes to purchasing a dog. I will never make that mistake again.

Look up complaints against this company and there are many...

I'm not saying that there aren't decent dogs on this site, there are but buyer be cautious as it's clear pets4homes don't care if they sell sick animals and won't do anything about it.

Ad Blocked Due To Malicious Person

Pets4homes blocked my ad due to my being reported maliciously by a buyer who wanted his £100 deposit back as he had changed his mind. I contacted Citizens Advice and the Police to ask their advice. They said I should not refund it. I contacted P4H twice to ask them what I should do as my ad said ‘non refundable deposit’.... and they totally ignored my messages. They then just blocked my ads. I contacted Google who were really concerned and were looking into the situation.

Easily Corrupted By Other People Advertising

Good site for selling on, but far too easy for people to have your advert removed by reporting it when they are selling the same! Very disappointing and things need to change, maybe fine the reporter on false allegations.

Pets4homes staffs need to make it possible easy for advert to be place on site easily. So many people fine it difficult to place advert, they should open the site and make easy for people to place advert so that many people will buy what they want. They should make it free for people to post advert easily.

I Was Taken In By An Individual Calling Who Said S

I was taken in by an individual calling who said she was based in Southampton who advertises on the site reptiles including chameleons, geckos and hog nose snakes. I have been trying to obtain the true identity and address of this individual from Pets4Homes for a number of months and they have ignored my requests under the Data Protection Act which I am entitled to receive as I intend to issue legal proceedings against this individual once I have her details. I am of the view that the way Pets4Homes have handled my request is reprehensible and I can only conclude that they are content for people to operate on their site and hide behind it to commit offences. I would strongly recommend not to use Pets4Homes to purchase any livestock as if you find yourself in the unfortunate position I have found myself in they will not lift a finger to assist.

Disappointed

Account suspended due to suspicions I was using multiple accounts and multiple names for selling pedigree ragdoll kittens.

I'm very sad to say my account has been taken down through no fault of mine and the staff being unhelpful and norrow minded. I'm a GCCF registered breeder with some stunning kittens and always maintained a good relationship with my customers before and after the sale of the kittens.

I never did nothing wrong for my accounts to be suspended and previous to this it's always been a re occurring issue. I sent in all the documents requested which matched my account details and confirmed I was who I said I was but this made no difference or has not till now.

I am HMRC registered and a single parent. My daughter was diagnosed and recovering from leukaemia, father just passed away in May and now I'm a carer for my elderly mother too so all the responsibilities for keeping a roof over our heads is mine. The pressure of losing adverts only adds to the burden and it's very upsetting when you know you've lost a battle you shouldn't even be fighting.

I'm looking to buy a cocker spanial, but what has worried me is, has puppy farms infiltrated the site and advise puppy's for sale?

The last thing I want to do is buy a puppy unwittingly from a puppy farm.
