Stay well clear. I bought a refurbished iphone which never arrived and they refused a refund. If it wasn't for the fact that I paid by Pay Pal I would have lost my money. Pay Pal investigated my complaint and found in my favour. I gave them a 1 star because there is no option to give none.

Universal Gadgets, Edigital Systems call them what you like, I see from the bad reviews its not just me at a loss with the disgraceful way they treat their customers. As Christmas is coming very soon I wanted to warn potential customers that you may end up with a writ against you if you order products on ebay from this seller. I ordered a item had it delivered signed for it and away went my son happy with his second hand product from Universal Gadgets. Some months later I was contacted by Universal Gadgets saying I was in illegal possession of the said phone. They then issued a Small Claims against me ? Quite clearly have no idea how ebay works or how to address their orders or financial payment systems. I urge you to take care when ordering, or better still chose a reputable supplier. Small note I do have my receipt and signed delivery note so hopefully the judge will find in my favour. I will post results in January 2017.

I purchased an iPhone 5c on eBay for my son for school.
The phone was unresponsive and unreliable - the screen didn't allow you to touch it or swipe properly so was basically useless.
I contacted the seller and they advised me to carry out a list of instructions to verify it was not software related. I carried these out but they did not work. I returned the phone to them and a over week later the phone came back - with the same problems.
I contacted them again and they said reboot the phone etc etc. I did all this and the phone still does not work. Now they are asking me to send it back again for their engineers to look at. What are they going to do this time that they didn't last time? My son needs his phone now for lifts etc and I don't want to be without it for over a week again.
It seems that this firm use delaying tactics so you fall outside the ebay protection period.
I have told them that I don't want the phone back but a refund or a replacement.
I am now left without a working phone with no hope of them replacing it or refunding me.
It seems that all iPhones they sell are problematic in some way.

I ordered a 'refurbished' iPhone 5. It was faulty on arrival - as so many of their 'phones seem to be - and notified them within days that I wished to have a refund. However, for business reasons I could not be without a 'phone while it was repaired and so ordered a new one. By the time I had received the new 'hone the company's 14 day refund 'guarantee' had expired. So no refund - even though I had told them of the fault within 14 days. On May 23 they confirmed receipt of my phone for repair. It is now 20 June and I have not received it. Do a search on this company and you will see only complaints. Their high eBay rating is a mystery. So are their 'phones refurbished, or recycled rubbish? Google them and decide for yourself. But whatever you do - buy elsewhere!

This Company Sells Phones On Ebay That It Doesn't
This company sells phones on eBay that it doesn't actually have in stock. They advertise that your order will be delivered next day, but when you contact them to ask where your delivery is they try to fob you off with "it's next day after we've got one, and processed it, so it maybe in a week?" -not next day delivery then.
For refunds, they again give you excuses about contacting couriers that don't exist, managers that spend their entire working day 'at lunch' and so on and so fourth. What ever you do, do not order from them. Reported to trading standards.

These guys are schemers they robbed me i bought a phone from them and it would not work i sent it to them to get fixed it was sent back but they sent it back worse than it was so i then sent it back to them as they told me to and they told me it will take 10 days to fix and i said okay no problem that was few months ago and they still will not reply to my messages i sent to them.

So Would I Recommend Them To A Friend No Way.
I brought a iphone 4 off these guys and when I turned it on there wasn't any signal yet my other phone showed I had a very good reception I even took it outside but to no avail still no signal and as this was supposed to be a present for my daughter I took it to a EE shop to make sure it was suitable for a EE sim card after only 10 minutes the assistant came back and said they had checked it by taking the back off and they found that most of the components WERE MISSING OUT OF THE PHONE. So I emailed Universal Gadgets and complained and they said to send the phone back to them for repair which would take 3 to 4 days so this I did that was 3 MONTHS AGO and still no phone. So would I recommend them to a friend NO WAY..

NEVER buy from them. I bought an iPhone 5 to take to a holiday in Spain, but the phone was UNUSABLE the whole trip. How do you use a phone that restarts every 2-3 minutes? And their customer service is a nightmare! My MULTIPLE emails of complaint have been completely dismissed and after sending it back for repair, and being phone-less for two weeks, I have just received my supposedly 'RECONDITIONED' phone, with completely no difference! The restarting problem is still there!
I wish I checked these reviews before purchasing it as I am now left with a useless iPhone 5, and £200 wasted!!! Seriously contemplating taking legal action against them, I do not know how companies like this are allowed to run!

Very Bad Service
I bought a iphone from these which arrived faulty, it has been returned 3 times for a so called repair and sent back to me in the same condition. They now refuse to acknowledge the fault and refuse to refund or replace the phone which is now stuck in a drawer as the battery runs dry in a couple of hrs with little or no use. They have ignored my requests to speak to a manager and to forward the customer complaint details, in fact they ignore most questions put to them. I paid over £300 pound for this phone a month before Christmas as a surprise present for a family member so it wasn't used untill just over a month after purchase so they refused a refund because even though it was faulty when we first attempted to use it, it was apparently to late to do anything about it apart from repair which was a total waste of time 3 times! I have now forwarded my complaint to trading standards via consumers customer rights so I hope this will be sorted soon. So my advice is to stay well away from purchasing from this company.

There standard excuse is to try and get the customer to accept the 15 day wait before item is deemed lost by Royal Mail. The consumer law states is they paid the postage that's there problem and should not effect or delay your request for a refund and beware after 14days you lose the right to cancel.
There negative feedback on ebay for feb 15 indicates they tried to use this excuse on
