Absolutely Shocking !!!

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!

I ordered a Ninja Air Fryer on 3rd December for delivery today (13th December). This was a Christmas gift for my Mum whom is a pensioner. I got a good price as the Black Friday deals were currently running. I chose Appliances Direct as they were £10 cheaper on price when compared with Argos. Yesterday I received an email saying there would be a delay with delivery. After spending 2 hours this morning trying to get through to customer services, I have been informed that they have no stock and would issue a refund. I now have to wait 3-5 working days to receive my refund before I can look around for a replacement. My bigger issue is that they are no longer in the sale so it will cost me more money as I will now have to pay full price. I asked for an upgrade to a product they currently have in stock (£40 more expensive) at no additional cost to me as I will now have to pay this from my own pocket - this was declined. Certainly no attempt at customer satisfaction here! I have never left a negative review.. ever... but I have to say I am appalled. If this review deters at least one potential customer then it has been a review well worth leaving. 1 star is way too generous.

Do Not Buy From This Company

Sold me a faulty product, then told me to uninstall it. As I didn't know how to, they told me to get an electrician to uninstall it and they might pay half of the bill.

Customer care is disgusting and the do not honour your consumer rights.

Appalling Experience

No stars is more deserving. I ordered an integrated washing machine and heat pump dryer, also paying for removal of my existing appliance and fitting service, and arranged an entire day off work to be at home. On arrival the AD representative was demeaning and obstructive, claiming without cause that I had mistakenly ordered integrated appliances (I had correctly ordered integrated appliances) and that he did not 'want' to the do the job. He then went to his van, refused to give me my items that I could have easily fitted myself, claimed he was calling customer services to confirm the job (as my informed word was not good enough for him), then drove off with my goods without notifying me while I was trying to speak to customer services, then falsely claimed I failed the delivery. After finally getting through to customer services, the flippant resolution offered was for me to take another day off work to reschedule the delivery. Appalling service and complete lack of respect for the customer. I am now left without a working washing machine and dryer, have to reinstate doors etc that were removed for the fitting of new appliances and will be weeks before I can arrange to be at home again, yet no recourse for the representatives who came to my home and decided for me that I did not know what I had ordered and decided for me to drive off with my goods.

absolutely terrible customer service asking for the same info 3 times and still not resolved,

there are plenty of on line traders how will give you a better service

No Delivery, No Refund !

We are a business and tried Appliances Direct to see if we could use them in the future. However they emailed to say they were not delivering on date arranged and am still waiting for refund supposedly instigated 7 days ago which was supposed to be in bank within 2-3 working days.

Needless to say they can not be relied upon, especially for a Trade Account.

Abysmal

Needed a fridge freezer to support moving property. Ordered from this organisation.

They did not deliver but chose DPD? Not a reliable or decent courier service in my daily business experience.

The box was reluctantly lifted over the threshold leaving me, with partial vision and alone to relocate into required area. No mean feat at 5ft and 9st dripping wet!

OK so then fathomed the most simple logistics to get out of the packing case into situe by myself.

Presents a dented fridge door down to the metal, which I duly reported poste haste.

Culminating in:

We will give you £25-£30 refund and you keep it OR

ŸOU repack in the same way....???

(Well just how I lift the item onto the polystyrene base as a start doesn't bear thinking about). Saying we can arrange collection and when we have it back, you will be able to have a replacement! A delay of unquantifed time does nothing to assuage this, and leaves me trying to work and continue with the relocation algorithm with no means to keep

produce chilled or frozen.

Oh and more than injury to insult, I have no computer, no Internet but I have to send photos?? Superwoman I am not!!

FOLKS I SUGGEST YOU DO NOT USE THIS SUPPLIER.

Shocking Service!

I purchased a refurbished Hotpoint tumble dryer from Appliances Direct. Within 3 weeks it began making a humming sound and not drying properly. I was given the runaround by their tech team who stated it was 'normal' for the machine to make a humming sound as it's a refurbished machine!! What rubbish!!! Following several phone calls and emails I finally got them to send an engineer to take a look for which I waited 2 weeks for someone to call out. The engineer found that it was due to a faulty, well used belt, which clearly hadn't been replaced. Given they state that all refurbished machines go through thorough examination and testing! Again what rubbish!!

I am now waiting for a further engineer to replace the belt which by the time it's fixed I've been without a machine longer than it's been working! In the meantime I have complained to Appliances Direct with no apology or offer of any compensation! I will never use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone else!

Terrible, Avoid

Bought dishwasher on Monday for delivery Thursday. Received message Wednesday telling me it would be delayed until March 5th? I'm disabled and and need the dishwasher as agreed. Have cancelled my order and ordered from AO with next day delivery!

Faulty Fridge. Appalled With Appliances Direct

Fridge broke after 1 year! Absolutely appalled with our purchase of Electriq 244 freestanding fridge. Only after 1year and 4 months, it started leaking water at the bottom of the fridge under the tray. It also leaks water all over the floor. After troubleshooting, we bought equipment to try and see if there was a blockage at the back. We tried different things and it’s still the same. Every week puddles of water inside the fridge and outside on the floor.

We spoke to customer service who told us to pay for an engineer £180!! due to it being out of warranty. What a disgrace. We have never ever had a fault with a fridge, let alone a fault so early on just after a year! Nor do we know anyone who has experienced this. If a fridge can cause problems so early on, why offer a 1 year warranty?! Never in a million years did we expect this problem and that’s exactly why we didn’t take out any extra warranty because it’s never happened to any appliances around the house and never a fridge. We would have been happy for a repair but no, we had to pay. We were eventually offered £30 towards it but that’s just ridiculous. This fridge cost us just under £500 so we don’t expect problems so early on or if at all! It was well looked after and never moved around. We merely opened and closed the door.

We have taken it further as the customer service level is not good enough and will not less this go.

I would advise anyone looking at this fridge (bear in mind it comes under many different brand names) that it’s a very poor product and we are extremely unimpressed with the help from such a big company. Look elsewhere!

No Deliverry

I order a intergrated fridge & freezer on wed 24th Jan 2024 & paid extra for nextday delivery. Friday 26th Jan stayed at home all day for it as I got message from them said delivery time from 7AM to 9PM.Notthing happen and 4PM I phone customer service & told that some one haven't pass the order to delivery section.

We have to waste lots of food during defrost freezer & no spare food at home as fridge is switch off

Now delivery time is monday 29th Jan 2024

I hope it will come along with people who finish installing it in same day 29/1/2024
