I placed an order for a refrigerator part from their website, by Part Number, andd confirmed by telephone what part I needed that said was IN STOCK. I received an order number immediately after purchase and the next day I received a FEDEX Tracking Number. A few days later, no package, I checked the Tracking Number and it said it was still in Indianapolis, at the FEDEX building. I wrote them and asked them what the delay was and then they sent me an Email sating "My part is backordered and will be arriving late August early September." Seriously? Then how the FK did I get a tracking number for a part that was never shipped? Then when I questioned them about it, I received a second Email with a new tracking number to UPS. When I clicked THAT link, it directed me to USPS, not UPS. And go figure, the Tracking Number was INVALID. You been warned!!!

I was totally elated to be able to replace a broken part from my original Dyson vac DC35! I thought I had to discard of it but Vacparts came through and the items arrived quickly in a very well packaged and secure box. If I need any additional items will definitely use them again.

Our Majestic 360 vacuum hose, the type that has the 'gas pump' handle, wore out at the latch that secures the attachments and the extension wand. I was convinced that I could fix the problem by installing a new spring and latch. The problem was that the recess for the latch pivot was beyond repair due to poor design and materials that were not sufficient for the job. The plastic compound that makes up the 'gas pump' handle becomes brittle after 3-4 years and the handle begins to crack and fall apart. The female receptacle on the handle that receives the male half of the connection on the wand, has cracked and fallen to pieces. all of this occurring with normal use over a span of 11 years. The vacuum works splendidly and has not presented us with any problems other than the 'gas pump' handle wearing out.

I attempted to fix the problem by installing a new latch and spring and reinforcing the area of the pivot point. The plastic composing the handle would not accept various adhesives or epoxy compounds to build up a "boss" suitable to hold the latch pivot.

I would suggest a redesign of this latch and the use of more durable materials for the entire attachment end of this handle. My motivation for making the repairs was the high price of an entire hose/handle assembly, and the lack of an option to purchase just the 'gas pump' handle.

The latch was excellent, but over-priced. The part that the latch was to be attached was the problem.

Their customer service is just super, they have very fast shipping, and they have a great selection of parts to fit any vacuum that is worth saving! I am the Maintenance Director for an Assisted Living Facility here in Utah, and I need to keep all of our vacuums working seven days a week.
