Reasonable Knives, Incessant Junkmail.

I bought a set of knives some time ago - they are actually OK (for the money), but I receive at least 3 emails every day from them... They do not take any notice of their own unsubscribe system and have also passed my email address to other companies without my permission (I used a one-off email address when I purchased from them so I know this for a fact). Why do these companies do this sort of thing. I could have been a good customer; shortly after my first purchase I considered buying more kitchen stuff (pans) but with their underhand and incessant spamming I now HATE them! Why are the 'authorities' so toothless and unable to prevent such blatant and illegal spamming?

same with me and if you go on there web page to look at something after your first purchase you get e-mails offering money off , there customer service is a farce , and dont take any notice of there website delivery guarantee as this is wrong as well , they are very quick to take oreders but very snail speed at sending them out , dont be taken in with there swanky looking website either

Rip Off Company

Bought an offer via Go Groopie and the code will not work. Have contacted Jean Patrique twice but all I get is an email promising a reply within 24 hours and then they ignore me.

Totally dishonest company. Voucher is obviously non existent

Awful And Dissapointing Trader

I ordered goods and waited more then one month, after calling customer service for 5 times I received my purchased goods after another month. And you know what, all dishes were broken.

Now I am trying to get hold of them through phone and apparently their office is closed... How come, if on a website it clearly says-We are opened 7 days a week 24 hrs.

Absolutely rubbish company. Never use it.

THEY ARE A BUNCH OF TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL MARKETEERS, NOT A KITCHENWARE SUPPLIER.....

I know that from the masses of spam they sent one of my dustbin mail accounts that I sign up to rubbish with.

DO NOT use this company unless you are completely MAD!

I Feel Duped

I ordered a 10 drawer farmhouse chest over a month ago- the money was promptly taken out of my account! £199.95 I had to phone up to chase delivery and was told it was "lost" I am still waiting a month later- I was told to put my concerns in an e mail and would receive a reply within 24 hours- this did not happen and I am still waiting for the thing to either turn up or some sort of contact from the company. Why did I order this!

Notorious Spam Merchants

Whether you are a customer or not, they will flood your inbox with SPAM e-mail on a daily basis if they ever get hold of your address.

Would you want to buy from a company that:

1. Sends SPAM e-mail completely unsolicited

2. Ignores all requests to be unsubscribed from their mailings

That alone should demonstrate that they clearly have no notion of customer service.

Distinctly Suspicious Trader

Ordered set of knives from their catalogue. Within days they were rusting away. I returned them as directed by post with a customer returns number. Over a month and 5 calls (premium rate) later they still can't tell me whether the parcel has been received as there is "no paperwork from the warehouse".

It seems that this company cannot be contacted directly, they hide themselves behind a call centre who are unable to help you personally as they are totally reliant on their client sending them information. They cannot even tell me for sure that the parcel has even been received (I know, I should have sent recorded delivery rather than just proof of posting).

So I am now out of pocket for the postage as well as the complete waste of time this company has cost me. Surely this must be in breach of distance selling regulations. Please warn all your friends to check reviews for Jean Patrique Cookware on sites like these, including Amazon before purchasing.
