I first stumbled upon Stead and Simpson website by sheer chance. I must admit to being somewhat dubious when I made my first purchase of a pair of Slip-On Casual shoes,because the price seemed so low when compared to High Street prices. Since then,I have purchased several pairs of shoes (as has my wife),and have never been less than completely satisfied in every respect. Full marks to you Stead and Simpson!!!!!!

The quality of the shoes is very good and I can't find any fault at all.

The choice of delivery day that you can choose is a huge convenience and I get updated on my order and delivery status so I can choose exactly when I receive it and I know when to expect my order.

Overall I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service, the website, the delivery options and of course the shoes which are excellent value for the price and that's why I always highly recommend the site to others, and will continue to shop here myself.

Stead & Simpson Website is excellent, easy to navigate and order and pay for goods. The free delivery and returns are also very good. I can always find a shoe or slipper product I want as well.

sad that only way to get the free step shoes I prefer is on line however they are so comfortable I made the effort. free step need no "running in time" and are comfort from the first day. Stead and Simpson have given us an easy site to use and a very efficient delivery service. Just wish the free step shoes were a little cheaper as I wear them for a lot of walking in my work.

Very quick and easy to order website, and very good value for money.

Asked for 2pairs of shoes to be paired off so i could try them on, no smile etc. From the cashier. Having got them i tried them on, one pair had a slight fault but they were comfy. I took them to the counter and asked if a small discount could be done for the fault, she didnt look at me just gruffly said no. I asked if they had another pair she snapped'no' so i decided to have them anyway. Having paid she then crammed both pairs in a small bag.(frightened the shoes would get scuffed and ruined before i could wear them)i asked if i could have either a bigger bag or another small one. She gruffly said no. I asked what she would do if someone got multiple pairs and she shirtily snapped id give a bigger bag. I couldnt understand why she was being so nasty. I had been warned about the hythe shop being off with there customers but having never had trouble in the stores before i didnt think anything of it. I WILL NOT BE USING THE SHOP AGAIN. i do feel some customer service training is needed here as for treating customers in this manner a reminder that without us they have no jobs.not a good experience at all. Cashier AF should be ashamed of youself.

I bought a pair of Lilley and Skinner shoes on holiday in wales, they were so comfortable. I searched and searched for more and found them on this website. The site was easy to navigate, ordering was easy and the shoes arrived in 3 days (standard delivery). Excellent service and great quality shoes, I am so pleased I've just ordered more. Just one criticism, I can't find the heel height on the shoe description ( I can only wear up to 2 1/2 inch)
