Interesting to read the accusations in some review sites. Used them just this morning to fix my speakers and microphone not working - done in 1 hr.

I've used 24/7 Techies for the last 5 years intermittently when problems arise on my laptop and they have always fixed the problem. Sometimes takes a few hours and you have to be with the computer, but that would be my only criticism. Just wish I would stop wasting my own time trying to figure things out and go straight to them :)

Is it expensive - add up the time and frustration you might spend floundering around trying to fix a computer issue!

Hello, the mic on my brand new dell laptop stopped working after windows 10 update. Contacted them on a Friday and paid $140 for one time service Incident ticket#457 9April20. They remoted into my laptop and worked on it for over 9 hrs but could not fix it. I contacted them again and they worked on my computer for 5 hrs. I worked with a guy. I finally had to stop the service. I couldn't sit at my computer for any longer as it seemed they were doing the same checks over and over. The service people were very nice, polite, and I believe they were honestly trying to fix my problem just couldn't. I can't afford to sit with them anymore and need to use my computer for work. Their website says there is a 30 day money back guarantee so I'm hoping they honor that and provide a refund of my $140. I will update this post and let you know if I get the refund. If I don't I will also provide other reviews of the service and contact the Better Business Bureau. I am hoping I come back on here and give a positive update and increase the stars!

Asked them to deal with 2 tasks the first load an SQL sever, I was assured that the could help.

5 days later and they were still trying, in the end I took it over and did this my self.

secondly I couldn't find my NAT drive after they had faffed with my PC, so give them a second chance, they didn't even turn off the fire wall (which is what I ended up doing to resolve the issue)before they gave up.

Asked for my money back as per their Guarantee and only offered part refund, as they felt the work done warrantied it.

So work incomplete, finished by customer (me) and they still want paying.

You buy a minimum 6 month subscription which auto renews. It is incredibly difficult to cancel it. Indeed, even though I eventually received a refund through Paypal (which 24/7 techies allegedly has no record of), 6 months later, 24/7 Techies just tried to tell me that I still have an active subscription, which they want to renew AGAIN. Fortunately, I had already cancelled my auto renewal through Paypal, otherwise I'm quite certain they would have taken it upon themselves to renew for me.

Also, I cancelled my subscription in the first place because I was dissatisfied with the quality of the tech support, and felt it was overpriced.

I have just exceeded the 30 day time limit for a refund!!! Very poor decision on my part to buy a 24 month contract. Thought they were Microsoft accredited in some way.

After many many hours (admittedly by very nice agents) my problem was not resolved BUT I had several new ones with my outlook system.

Microsoft told me that this company(indeed any company) is not an agent or subsidiary of microsoft and should be avoided. Each time they logged in to my PC I received virus alerts.

Microsoft said that they had almost certainly infected my system. Microsoft eradicated several viruses and resolved the main issue in about 20 minutes. They also uninstalled all reference to 24/7 techies from my computer.

You live and learn BUT I do feel cheated.

watch these people they will take money from your paypal account ,and paypal will let them ,even after you tell them not to

Your mac support team rocks! My issue was simply fixed online and I did not have to leave my home. You saved me a whole weekend which I can now spend with my son. Thank you 247techies

I wanted you to know that out of all the tech service providers I have dealt with, I have never experienced professional assistance at every level and at every time I ring you.
