Beware Of Pccare247
-PCCare247 misrepresented that it acts for various companies (e.g. "We provide support for Norton."); Norton has not authorized any support relationship.
-aggressive sales pitch predicting dire consequences if services were not retained
-excessive fee ($400.00) for rectifying computer problems
-PCCCare247's representative, Devendra Pandey, predicted that if I declined to hire the company, our computer would be hacked
-after ending the conversation, Pandey's prediction came true (loss of control of the computer, bank accounts reviewed, amounts inserted for transfer, icons removed etc.) with PCCCare247 apparently doing the hacking
PCCare247 imply they are directly part of companies such as Norton, BitDefender, MacAfee, Microsoft, and others. After misrepresenting themselves to my wife who used a bogus google find of a phone number for Norton, they directed her to dowload items onto multiple computers in our houseand were in the process of trying to get $1200 out of her using scare tactics when she contacted me. After listening to the guy for 60 seconds, I realized what they were doing. I have since found a lot of similar reports across the internet. I have also found multiple copies of a single favorable review that I believe they have posted around the internet. Beware!
