Review of APC Delivery Service – Unprofessional and Unreliable

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by APC. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, marked by poor communication, unfulfilled commitments, and a complete lack of professionalism.

I contacted APC at approximately 8:15 AM regarding a parcel scheduled for delivery between 11:45 AM and 1:45 PM. Since I would be at work during that time, I requested a change of delivery address to my workplace. I was informed that such a request could only be made by the sender of the goods. Understanding this, I then asked if the driver could call me when they were approximately 20 minutes away from my residence, as I only live 10 minutes from my workplace. The customer service representative assured me that this request would be accommodated.

To ensure there were no issues, I left work early and was at home by 11:00 AM, well before the scheduled delivery window. I waited patiently, but by 2:30 PM, there was still no sign of my parcel. Frustrated, I contacted the company I purchased the goods from, only to be informed that my parcel had been held at APC’s depot with no attempt at delivery.

The lack of communication and professionalism from APC is appalling. Not only did they fail to deliver my parcel within the promised timeframe, but they also did not inform me of any delays or issues. Had I not taken the initiative to contact the sender, I would have been left waiting indefinitely with no explanation. This level of service is completely unacceptable for a logistics company.

I strongly advise others to reconsider using APC for their deliveries. Their disregard for customer time and lack of basic communication make them highly unreliable. This experience has caused unnecessary inconvenience, and I will certainly avoid using their services in the future.

No Information About Delay

If you thought DHL and Hermes/Evri were bad, wait until you experience APC. Had time off on Thursday to wait in for a scheduled lunchtime delivery that was subsequently changed to mid afternoon before disappearing completely. Literally no online information as to what had happened and no contact from APC, so I had to 'phone them only to find out that the driver had given up part way through his list because he was running late. Rearranged delivery for Saturday (I wasn't about to take another day off) was also a couple of hours late but at least it arrived, so a generous two stars rather than one.

Wasted Whole Day With No Delivery

APC Overnight.

My delivery slot was 11.06 - 13.06. It is now 16.57 and still no delivery. An hour ago, APC Pinpoint tracking showed that the driver was at stop number 40 and that I was number 41 - still over 2 1/2 hours late, but almost there. Then the tracking stopped, and still no parceI. rang the local depot number - “The person you are calling is not available, try again later.”. I then tried the national 0800 number, which robotically transferred me to the local depot number - and still no one available. So now, 4 hours late, a day wasted, still no tracking, and still no delivery. So much for giving a delivery slot. EDIT: Now six hours after the allocated time slot. Tracking now back on and shows driver 20 miles away at the Liverpool depot, after originally being only 3 minutes away when the tracking stopped.) Apparently I have become number 45, and then relegated to number 47. New time slot showed up - which, surprise surprise, has been and gone. He did better than this. Time now 18.52. Stand by for further edits……..

EDIT: Now 19.34, tracking shows the driver / van/ parcel stationary for several hours at the depot in Liverpool, stop 45, (the one in which there is nobody to answer the phone) and I am still stop 47. Giving up now.

EDIT: Now 21.03. Still showing consignment at depot, stop 45, and my stop as 47, but clearly, everyone gone home, phone not being answered, so a complete failure by APC Overnight. I suppose we have to go through the same thing all over again tomorrow, but I won’t believe any notifications from them. Disgraceful.

Worst Delivery Ever!

Worst nightmare ever!

First they said they'd deliver my parcel on two occassions but never turned up. Then they came up with another date and did turn up at such short notice that I could not be there, no chance!

Can't change delivery address either on their website.

Absolute nightmare, worst delivery experience I ever had!

Expensive Overnight Service Delivered After 4 Nights

Utterly miserable and depressed. Item was sat like a pudding in some depot for 3 days. Depot informed me they were having logistical problems. Parcel missed its deadline and now junk. APC refuse to refund my order

Delivery slots are not given and will be anytime between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

In other words, when you are at work.

Be prepared to either use a holiday day or lose a day's pay to wait In.

The item I recieved was put out for delivery for 3 days before I ended up having to collect myself.

The item was damaged and organising collection for a return was even worse.

They made a mistake to attempt collection from the wrong address that I requested and then would not reroute a van for it to be resolved the next day.

Had To wait a further 6 days later for collection.

Absolutely unreliable and terrible service.

Impossible To Contact

After a missed delivery, I emailed them to leave in my safe place as I wouldn't be there they still tried to deliver normally? Tried to rearrange delivery they would not answer phones, I did 30 odd miles round trip to collect it myself, arrived at a desolate building and asked for help, a staff member went to collect my parcel, I decided to try and ring office while there, still no answer! I got my parcel eventually,terrible company, awful service,, I will will never use them.

Absolutely Terrible!

I was told on 3 occasions that my furniture would be delivered with allocated time. However they failed to arrive. After finally managing to get through to the customer service, a lovely man put it up as urgent and put it up for delivery again the next day. The delivery guy came to the door I let him in through the intercom and he left with out delivering. I contacted him asking him about redelivery and what had happened. He said he was already taking my delivery back to depot. The lady in customer service was rude too. The driver was very rude saying in other words I can complain if I want and sent a smiley emoji via text message, being very sarcastic. RUDE AND TERRIBLE SERVICE

Excellent Customer Service

I missed my delivery (my own fault) which I really needed today so I phoned the Exeter hub and spoke to someone who was super helpful. He phoned the driver and arranged for my parcel to be redelivered for a couple of hours time. Thank you so much!

No Delivery

Incompetent and useless.

Day 3 and delivery still not recieved.

Day 1. Driver claims couldnt find address. He never called me as is on the delivery instructions and sent this as screenshot for proof to Manager who tried to tell me that wasnt true.

Day 2. Driver didnt even bother to deliver. Could see on map tracking at locations around my address and then went off to another town.

Day 3. Delivery still not here and company blaming it on a 'new driver' but he managed to make all his other deliverys and that is not a good enough excuse.

When I said it needs to arrive today and at this point it needs to be prioritised as youve made empty pomisses day after day.. they flat out said 'ahh no sorry'.

My address is on a main road and you just have to put it on google maps.

Driver lied and didnt call me and now three days later I am still with out my parcel.
