Appalling Service And Zero Accountability – Avoid At All Cos

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with the despicable service provided by this courier company. Their couriers are completely unprofessional, and their processes are laughably inadequate for a company claiming to offer "next-day delivery" for fragile items sent via special delivery.

My parcel, a fragile plant that was a gift for Sunday, was marked as "undeliverable" because the courier supposedly "could not find the address." This is absurd, considering it’s a large, easily accessible house on a major road that has stood for over 100 years. No other courier has ever had trouble finding it. To make matters worse, they later marked it as a "missed delivery," even though the courier never made any attempt to deliver it.

When I escalated the issue, they admitted the courier didn’t even try to deliver the parcel. Yet, their response was to tell me I’d have to wait 72 hours for someone to contact me and "try to resolve" the issue. By that time, the plant will most likely be damaged. This is completely unacceptable.

I specifically arranged my day to ensure I would be home to receive the delivery, but the company’s negligence has not only caused me immense frustration but has also likely ruined a thoughtful gift. Their customer service and lack of accountability are appalling.

This company has utterly failed to provide even a basic level of service, and I would strongly advise against using them for any important deliveries.

The driver lied about delivering two days in a row, I held for 40 minutes to speak to them with no answer! Avoid at all costs!

I have now waited in for delivery 3 times. And all i get is an automated email around the time they said they would come, saying i was not in.

There is no way to speak to someone about this. The automated phone line just sends you round in circles before telling you to go online to rebook. So thats another waste of your time.

I did try making contact online. But this resulted in an automated email saying go online and rebook your delivery.

But whats the point, they just lie and say you were not in. Its beyond infuriating. I assume the drivers dont bother to try to deliver unless its on a convenient route for the rest of their deliveries, so just sent the automated text saying you were not in.

Lies In Tracking. Abysmal And Aggressive Driver Attitude

Overnight Delivery paid for by DX by the business that I placed an order with. Not received. Firstly, DX state it was on the wrong van. The following day it was not loaded on a van, but tracking shows that it was out for delivery. - A driver stopped at my house with someone else's exhaust system in his hand, before throwing that back in his van. - (I would be amazed if someone hasn't received a dented/damaged exhaust system!) - He then confirmed that he had nothing for me, but recorded on DX Tracking that he had left a card, despite that we had a conversation? We are at the end of a cul-de-sac. - As he left, the driver did a Formula 1 start, turning round and driving across the lawn of the house opposite to us! I would also give zero starts if it were possible. How do businesses like this keep going?

Abusive And Aggressive

The delivery driver was very aggressive, threatening and abusive because I wouldn't take a 25kg package off him in the street rather than him deliver it to my door (I am disabled with severe arthritis and can only walk using sticks). He dumped the package on the ground floor of my block (I live on the 6th floor snd there are lifts) and futher verbally abused me and threatened to 'do' me.

This is disgusting behaviour and will not be tolerated; it has been reported to the police.

A further complaint has gone to the HSE as the package is well above the maximum permitted in the Manual Handling Regulations so a trolley should have been used or two people needed to lift it.

If this horrible person is representative of the company you should avoid using them at all costs.

Terrible Company With A History Of Terribleness.

Over the last 6 years (roughly) I have dealt with DX a couple of times. Here's what to expect:

Expect that you don't need to be in on the delivery date because you will be told that there was a problem with delivery and you must rebook.

In fact you may even be told they left a card, but you will not find it.

Expect that they will not find your address. I once discovered my delivery driver was driving up and down the street slapping his horn, and had been for some time, not bothering to look for the address.

Expect your packaging to be damaged.

Expect their call centre to have their hands tied, in that there's nothing they can do for you, even if it's the third day you have waited in for your DX chariot to arrive only to be told once again that your delivery is not possible today.

Expect to see the DX van in your street nearby if you use tracking. Oh yes, they "will" be nearby. Do not expect a knock on the door. Do not expect to see the van. Do expect to track them five minutes later to find them a long way away.

I cannot believe that DX are not only still operating, but that they have not changed in the years they have been around.

No one should have a sinking feeling of dread when they find out what courier is delivering their item. No one. Not about the courier. But once in a blue moon I see DX come up in an email or text, and I know already I won't be seeing my item for some time.

The only company on interparcel that keeps your money if can't collect. My wife was kitchen. He knocks once and runs off.

Terrible

Useless! I spend hours on chat and then once I get an agent they just cancel and I have to wait another 40 minutes. The lady on email was completely unhelpful! Can’t get hold of them. They refuse to book a time slot so they just arrive when I’m not home or cancel on the hour. They also go to the wrong address and now way to get hold of them. They refuse to call. Waited days for my package with no solution whatsoever.

Dumped My Parcel In A Different Village

Wasn't expecting a parcel, received a few texts telling me to click a link to track a parcel. Click an unsolicited link? NOPE!

6 days later, a person contacted me through FB to say she had a parcel with my name and CLEAR & FULL address.

She'd called DX to inform them of the mis-delivery and they'd told her she'd have to PAY for a collection!

Tonight, I drove 4 miles away, to a dingly dell, in a different village to collect it.
