Terrible And Unprofession Agency
I have worked for many agencies over the years, most have there quirks and indiffent styles, however none are as bad as Lorien.
They expected me to work before they had even raised a contract and for a lower daily rate then they had advertised. I asked twice for clarification about the exact length of contract, notice period and mileage criteria and when I refused to go to site because of the lack of clarification, I got an angry lecture of why it was all my fault and that i had let them down.
I got exactly the same. Was assigned two logins and none work properly. Timeshares have all disappeared even though I have emails approving them. Yet now I'm to,d to send an invoice epoch is complete rubbish and yes apparently its all my fault. They are incompetent company that should be closed down. Not just that my contract was only after I threatened legal action which I am going to do now anyway.
Awful Agency
Went for two interviews through this agency. The first was supposedly for someone with VBA.Net and SQL experience when I got an interview with client turned out they were looking for someone with knowledge of RPG. Female consultant blamed it on a mix up on the clients side. Had another interview for a different client through the same agent supposedly for someone with MS Stack experience (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) turned out the client wanted Oracle and Business Objects. It became obvious talking to second company that the agent had been talking to about my experience to the client and what the client wanted to me. Client reckons she was paid based on how many people she got to interview. She came back with a third interview after I had complained to her about her 'bums on seats' attitude and she assured me that there was a complete match between my skills and what the new (third) client wanted. However once bitten twice shy so I phoned the third clients HR and asked them to confirm my skill set was what they were after. It wasn't. Consequently I pretended I was going and then didn't and third client aware now of what she was doing then made a complaint about her. I took my business else where. After a couple of interviews with the new agency I got one with an Insurance company at 5.00pm. Turned up on time but was kept hanging around until about 6:30pm before being taking up to a floor where most of the lights turned off and only a bloke there. After a short obviously contrived interview I was told he would be in touch. Went down to the lobby to find her sitting there all dolled up with a sweet smile on her face. Left and went to a near by pub for a drink. Sat for a few minutes and saw the guy from the interview come down give her a kiss before they jumped arm in arm into a cab presumably off to a show some where.

Rubbish Customer Service
Went to a job interview on recommendation from someone in the company. The recruiter said that I was resentful to the company I went to interview for! Baring in mind, the interviewers made us do so much work, final interview they didn't let me look at my notes I made and asked very silly questions and irrelevant questions! Shocking. Never had such a poor experience and never felt so uncomfortable felt like I was being interrogated in an exam room.
I told the recruiter and he didn't care and said it's normal. He then said I didn't get the job, I said that's fine I've got a job already, and he said that's the attitude what didn't you land this job! Pathetic to say the least, and he said he didn't appreciate my comments?! I said what do you mean by that? You're talking about my attitude and giving me cheek?! I demanded for the manager and then apparently he gave it to the director who was very rude as I told him what happened and he didn't care what the recruiter said to me about me being resentful and claiming it's feedback baring in mind I went out of my for this interview from my job! He said what do you want from this call and me?! In such a rude, sarcastic way and didn't care at all. He then put the phone down on me before I could say anything. Shocking. My advise stay away from these rude people and don't deal with any of them. Shocking company. This isn't how you handle a recruitment agency and then give them flack for it!
Run The Other Way!!
Absolutely incompetent beyond belief. Not limited to one individual in the company. Excessive paper work when onboarding requiring wasteful printing and scanning. Mix ups with other people they're dealing with (likely they are at high risk of data contamination and exposure). Extremely slow to pay.

Utterly Completley Useless
I have been working for Lorien for the past 4 months and at no point have they managed to get my pay right, when contacting them there attitude is aww well we will sort it next month. I have never ever worked for such a useless incompetent agency in the past 15 years of contracting. I will be knocking back any extensions offered and finding employment else where as I cant stand these idiots any more.
Completely Incompetent
Now if you have ever worked for a recruitment agent you will know that as a rule they are all useless and disinterested in helping anyone with anything but Lorien Resourcing takes this universal truth to a new extreme don't expect to ever be paid on time if at all
Avoid Like The Plague
I worked for Lorien and over a month later they have yet to pay. Stay well clear of these amateurs.
Buttock-clenchingly Awful.
I've never experienced a recruitment agent quite so bad. To begin with, everything seemed to be fine. their staff weren't super helpful.
I later learned that's because they put all their nice people on the on-boarding tasks. Once you're signed up, however, it all changes. If you call in with a problem, they're abrupt and disinterested. The portal is unfathomable, and if you ask for help, they're pretty rude. I imagine this is how Lorien saves money; it forces you and me to do all the data-inputting for them.
After I bent over backwards to keep their client happy, they ended up underpaying me.
I've used many - I mean dozens - of rec agents over the last three decades, and Lorien are hands-down the worst. They could offer me CEO of the frigging Universe and I'd tell them to stick it.
If I could give them no star, I would.
Awful Recruitment Agency - Not Worth A Visit!
Incomplete job descriptions, poor recruiters who obviously have found a market and keep exploiting it.
But its not the market i work in that's for sure, won't even accept feedback when the job process goes wrong. Which it does repeatedly for Lorien as they refuse to either give the full job description or to get it from the employer - hard to tell from the candidates view!
Steer well clear.
